Come on, anyone that has ever had Green Lantern Pizza will know that a review is not needed. Their pizza is top notch. There is other good pizza out there, but sorry - when you are able to spend a few bucks more (their pizza is a bit above average cost) Green Lantern needs to be top of the list. Green Lantern has one of the best pizzas around. This franchise also has a long history within the Detroit area, but the recipes are mostly the same everywhere.The Octopie is legendary and can easily feed two people. But I have to admit, they are not a sandwich place, or a salad place or a chicken place. I grew up in Madison Heights in the 1970’s and 1980’s and I always looked forward to going to Green Lantern on John R for pizza. They were my favorite. I was so happy when this location opened up in Rochester Hills. This place still has a great pie. I’d never in a million years order a pizza with fruit on it when I was a kid, but I like it now.
