After about six months of buying Kalindi’s cakes in Grosse Pointe and paying 30% more, I discovered the bakery itself right on the way to Michigan Cancer Center at 10 & Kelly. The carrot and casatta cakes are the BEST we’ve ever tasted, but we’ve never had a bad selection. Don’t miss the zucchini bread or the German chocolate cake either. Don (owner) runs the register and he’s just as helpful and pleasant as he can be!The only drawback - and it’s significant - is the heavy smell of cigarette smoke that inhabits the store. The last time I was there, my wife could SMELL it on my clothes when I got home! Folks with allergies - BE AWARE.
I stopped in for a chicken pot pie (they are DELICIOUS), and chose to try the coconut cream pie. The lemon meringue pie was tempting!! It's really hard to choose because there are so many wonderful options!! They also sell local honey! Great, friendly serviceParking right outside the door Clean, inviting space

This bakery is AMAZING! They SAVED our wedding! We found out a few weeks before our wedding that both bakers at the current bakery we had chosen had quit, and taken our order info with them. After going back and forth with the owner of the other bakery we found Kalindi’s. Not only did they take our HUGE last minute order, but they were very cautious with me having food allergies. They helped us out so much, and everything turned out AMAZING! Our boss loved the chocolate on chocolate cupcakes so much he contacted us after our wedding so he could order some for his son’s upcoming wedding festivities. We are beyond grateful for their kind, helpful service. Everything was beautiful and so yummy! Thank you for all of your help! You have definitely made us loyal customers.

Great bakery with many things to choose from. No donuts, though. They had a few gluten-free selections, which was nice. They also had some pre-made dinners. We got some gluten-free cupcakes and a key lime cheesecake. Yum.

Wow!!! First time here, and sorry it took me so long to try this bakery. The carrot ? cake ? is delicious!! Cake pop delicious!! Shepherds pie, delicious!!! I will definitely be coming back!!!

Small little spot off the 10 mile exit off 696. Just a half mile off the exit. They have pineapple upside down cake, lemon squares with crumbs on it. They even have keylime cheesecake. My eyes are bigger than my stomach purchase here for sure. Two pineapple upside cake slices (they are big), lemon square, lemon blueberry pound cake, zucchini and banana bread, peanut butter chocolate bar. $42.33 The lemon blueberry loaf was a bit dry, there wasn't a lot of blueberries in the loaf, the icing is sweet. Lemon square flavor was okay, the crust was too hard and too thick for my liking, not an ideal ratio. Pineapple upside down cake was pineapply, but not for me. The banana walnut bread was so-so, way too dry though. The zucchini bread was pretty good, not dry. The peanut butter chocolate squares were the best of all of the items purchased.
