“Excellent food in a very rustic and family-friendly restaurant. When we had dinner there they were quite busy and full. The service was friendly but because there were only 2 front-of-the-house staff but food was good. Will order or eat there again for sure!“
“This was a nice quiet restaurant where you could sit and enjoy a meal and have good conversation. The service was excellent and the food was excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant if you like Asian food exclamation pointVegetarian options: There were many dishes that were vegetarian.“
“I know I told a fewfolks about this place but I don't think I'd ever posted anything about it. Saginaw Michigan is not exactly known for it being a foodie paradise. We do have quite a few restaurants, but they are mostly chain and or fast food places. I did find a nice spot not to far from my house called Panda House. It's chinese cuisine and it's on par with the finer chinese places from the SF Bay Area. It's extremely clean and the wait staff are absolutely lovely! They are a little different then what I expect in how some dishes are served so it kind of throws me, but the food is delicious and I can't wait for when my out of towners come for a visit and I treat them to this great place. Also, they have live piano music/player Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 8pm I think. Not 100% sure of the hours. But the player I've seen is very talented. This place reminds me a lot of the Bay Area so when I'm feeling lonely and home sick, it's my go to hapoy place. Here's my dinner from the other night. More extravagant then nomal, but I wanted to try something new. I had Broccoli Beef (go to), Almond Chicken (2nd go to), large shrimp with pea pod/snow peas (new), peking duck with wrappers (new). And a cocktail called a Dragon's blood? Or Dragon's breath. First time getting the cocktail. Nice fruity and balanced. Not my favorite, but I'm super picky with my alcohol so I'm not a good one to judge off of. However it was a well made drink. All the food was great. FYI, some of the food normally comes with eggs or bell peppers, but I'm allergic to both so you don't see it here in the pic. The Peking duck surprised me. The skin was super crispy and flavorful while the meat was tender and juicy. Great Hosing sauce with plenty of vegetables. The only thing that really threw me was it was served with something akin to a won ton wrapper or a tortilla as compared to the fluffy white steamed buns/rolls that I've had at every other chinese house I've eaten peking duck at. I'm sorry but I didn't want to even deal with them as they were just wrong and out of place in my mind and my pickyness just won out. Which is ok, I didn't need them anyways. But I really missed the buns. All the food was delicious and makes excellent left overs the next day. So yeah, totally looking to share with my friends when they stop on over!Dietary restrictions: I have food allergies and they do accomidate whenever possible.Parking: Big parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible for people with mobility issues.“
“Chinese food is one of those foods that I think is specific to a person's tastes. I really enjoy the almond boneless chicken here. The egg drop soup is ok.Kid-friendliness: Unless a kid is really into Chinese food, I would take them elsewhere (in general).“
“Only take out. Don't judge a book by its cover. The food is very good, and you get a lot for your money. I think there's one guy doing everything, including delivery. Be patient.I know this place has changed hands many times, but it is worth a try.“
“House of Fortune is simply the best Chinese restaurant in town. This place embodies the meaning of a “hidden gem.” The food here is always fresh and flavorful, not to mention the fast service and friendly staff. They have options ranging from vegetarian and gluten free to house specialties and bubble tea. I ordered their shrimp in lobster sauce, teriyaki chicken, shrimp lonmein, and hot pepper chicken. They were delicious! Besides the amazing food and service, the atmosphere is warm and cozy. It also seems like they have gotten new booth since the last time I was here. I can’t wait to be back!“
“Update! The owner (female) who works there is extremely rude! We have been coming here for years and have never been treated so poorly by the owner! Threw our money and debit card at us simply because we asked if she could separate our orders! You do not treat your day 1 customers like that! Last time we will be going there!Owners are very nice and the food is always delicious and fresh! My favorite dishes are the pork lo mein and beef & broccoli! Best egg rolls and cream cheese ragoons! Support your local mom and pop restaurants!“
“The food was really good. I love the mooshoo chicken! And they give good portion sizes. It did take about 10 minutes for my food after arriving. Even though when I called to place a to go order they said it would be 25 minutes before it was ready and I waited 45 before walking inside. Lol. But in all fairness they were extremely busy. With a small kitchen.“
“Amazing and authentic thai food and even better service! I have come here multiple times and absolutely love it. Their tom yum, pad thai, thai szechuan, and thai iced tea are all excellent. It's also clear that they put a lot of thought and intention behind their food to not only ensure it's delicious but also accessible for as many people as possible (incorporting gluten-free and vegan options). My only wish would be if they had halal options as well!Dietary restrictions: They have a whole vegan menu and also many gluten free optiosn. They unfortunately do not have any halal options, however, are very open to innovating their menu and are very accomodating.“
