I had a business meeting in Saginaw from Lansing and decided at the last minute to grab some baked goods to share. Google maps gave me some choices of stops along the way, and Maria Elena's grabbed my attention. I am so glad I stopped! These goodies were so tasty!! She had four different flavors of empanadas ❤️ and the cookies were amazing. Everything was very affordable. I will stop again.
Tortillas so so so good! I am not exaggerating when I say I don’t want any other flour tortillas even if that means a road trip to get them. If you grew up eating a warm tortilla with a little butter and a shake of salt as a snack you either make your own OR you buy them here. If you know you know.

Bakery items the Best in Saginaw. Everything is delicious! Wish the little woman would wear a hair net! None of them wear hair nets! Such a gross thing to find hair in your tamales!!! Had to throw them out
