“We eat at Shortys once a week. We love the specials (great smoked wings, smoke ribeye hoagie and lasagna just to name a few), excellent pizza and sandwiches. Service is speedy and friendly every time. It can be loud sometimes if it’s a full house but then other times is a quiet atmosphere.”

“Where to start with this little place. The hometown diner atmosphere, the smiling face when you walk in the door, the friendly service and absolutely great home cooked style meals? This little place is simply overall amazing. A very hard working Family owned diner. Once again the food is like I'd prepare for my own family (I've been a Chef for 40 yrs) and just like my table you better come with an appetite! You get all that you pay for and then some and in today's economy that's really saying something. I highly recommend stopping in this place and giving them the support they deserve if you're in their neck of the woods.BTW my wife had Southwest Hash with Cinnamon Raisin Toast and I had a full order of biscuits and gravy with a couple of over medium eggs on top. Delicious!! And don't mind all the hot sauce we like our food spicy!”

“Visited during A Taste Of The Irish. Had enjoyed mini versions of their treats and picked up some coffee, candles, and a small bit of ice cream. The flavors were unique and pleasant. Specifically, the frosting was fluffy, mellow, and fruity. As one might expect, the ice cream oh so very creamy and packed with goodies! I am satisfied with the aroma of the candles (buring warm cinnamon roll as I type). It's a soft scented cinnamnon, noticeable across the foyer. Their coffee is very smooth and enjoyable! Just beware it is whole bean. Their guest area has a variety of couches and chairs to make a homely impression. There is also a separate cubby to lay back in if not occupied. Books are provided if you find yourself finished with your snacks but don't quite have the urge to leave. Would recommend for a visit to see how it suits your own tastes.”

We were here today for the first time and Jenny A was our server.She was so kind, sweet, helpful and had a good sense of humor and was just overall an amazing person to have (wish I could have had dinner with her as well lol)The food was delicious! “Food was good, would've been better if it was hot. My fries and sandwich were cold and so were the pancakes and hash browns. They were busy and only 1 girl running her butt off so I will definitely be back because the food was good. They were just having an off day. Small place so it fills up fast. They also have a small wrap around bar area with seating.”

“It's always wonderful to find a great place to comfortably share a meal and socialize. We enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Everyone loved the cheese curds. I had Sarge's Catch and the perch was perfectly lightly breaded. I traded the fries for sweet potato fries and they were amazing. Never before have I had SPF with the skins on and they were delicious. The rest of our party ordered burgers and enjoyed them with "healthy portions" of fries or house made chips (YUM!) “We love taking a drive to the lake for ice cream on a hot summer day. Ice cream is always good and they're very generous with it as well. The owner makes home made ice cream sandwiches that we like as well. Sometimes we take the dog and she loves this place as well!! Support local business! This guy busts his butt and does such A WONDERFUL JOB!!”

“I'm a pizza snob. I compare pizza to my dad's homemade from scratch pizza. Growing up, every Saturday dinner was pizza. We made various tomato sauces from tomatoes picked from my dad's family farm. Our pizza sauce was homemade, as well as the dough. Simple and delicious. Big name pizza joints never could outshine my dad's pizza. Luigi's pizza dough is simple, making it, in my opinion, way better than these chains. Next time my parents come to visit, we will have pizza from Luigi's, because it tastes like my Dad's pizza. 5 stars from me and my family ❤️”

“I had the Rodeo Burger with fries. The burger was nice and juicy, the fries were not salted to death like some places, the people are amazing. It's definitely a good place to go for a nice quiet lunch.”

“We went to see a band that we know, play there. The inside is very nice, but they need to change their seating to smaller tables. Also, people like to be comfortable. Padded chairs would be nice.The band was way too loud for that place. The acoustics in the room are really bad.All in all, the food and service were great.”

“Worked here for a minute. It's a pretty clean place and food is fresh. Id say the only negative that can be said is customer service. The older ladies there can be quite negative to people. One will bluntly be rude to people and the other had made a man wait between 40-60 minutes for a sandwich because the machine was down. The man wanted to leave but she told him he cannot. After calling the owner the situation was sorted out making the man still pay for his sub even though it was an issue on our end. He pointed at me before going to his vehicle of wife and kids saying make sure people hear about this. So here I am.”

“The Apple Spice Cupcakes are to die for! When I first ordered I was (honestly) a little hesitant due to the fact that its all vegan, but they were loads better than regular cupcakes! And as a bonus, I didn't feel bloated or gross from artificial sweeteners, or fake flavorings. Absolutely phenomenal!”

“Menu has changed since the last time I was there, they didn't ask what kind of cheese I wanted. They just went by what the menu says that the sandwich comes with. I know now that if I want something different that I need to inform them before they start making the sandwich. Also, I couldn't see them making the sandwich because of the way the setup is. Again, now I know.Total bill was about $14 for one foot long, no chips, no drinks.”
