“We go to Olive garden often because my dad loves it :)I don't eat pasta so there's 3 things I can order. And the salmon with broccoli is so juicy and satisfying also the chicken margarita with pesto and Parmesan and broccoli is delicious and a bit more filling! I'm pretty frugal and the prices to me are a bit high (around $20) our bill for 3 of us was $72 and would have been more but waitress asked manager to subtract. Anyways it feels private in a booth and there's a like tablet thing at every table so you're group can play games. Bread sticks are dangerously good.“
“We kind of came at peak time and it was difficult to park. But we ordered early and was able to sit, eat and get on with our evening pretty quickly. We've been coming here for years and it is much easier now that they accept credit cards. It's notable that there is a crazy amount of cameras in the dining area?“
“I left my credit card here and the staff was so courteous and polite to place it in a safe for me when I returned.Dee was also super helpful and gave me amazing service upon my return. No matter what time of day service and staff here are awesome :)“
“I feel like dave portnoy needs to make a stop here..that being said, im opinionated about my pizza..a detroit style should be thick but light, so lay off the toppings and stick with just cheese and pepperoni. But for rounds, load up on toppings..however, to each there own, regardless your gonna enjoy the flavor...and sometimes, thats all that matters. Barstool score id say 7.8.“
“We love coming to Downriver Coney! The food rocks and we love all the employees! We come to eat quite often. The prices are great for the excellent food! Will continue to eat here and highly recommend it!Dietary restrictions: I have a dairy allergy and everyone tries their best to accommodate my needs.Kid-friendliness: My kids can be pretty wild sometimes but they are always welcome with open arms. They are never treated disrespectfully.“
“Went for dinner with my family. Two adults and three kids under 10. The server, Michelle was so helpful and nice. She really made the dinner great for us, it’s never easy with kids. The calamari was not over cooked or greasy. The marinara and lemon aioli sauces with them were delicious. We ordered a pepperoni pizza for the kids and they devoured it along with a spaghetti and meatballs dish. We also shared the rice balls and an order of the truffle butter pasta with chicken. Warning on the pasta, the sauce has a far amount of cheese flavor. My wife was not the biggest fan but that’s a personal preference. I thought it was great. Chicken was moist and had a nice crisp finish.“
“Been wanting to go here for a bit ... finally went and did not disappoint. I only bought a 6layer Italian -- so good. The bread is fantastic. The dressing is really good. I could easily have split my sub with someone. Also picked up a selection of olives that had. Definitely recommend. There was a line when we got there, but went fast and service was friendly. Kinda in the middle of nowhere and there is no seating at location. Perfect for a picnic. It is close to the historic Fort Wayne“
“Best Italian food I’ve had in a while! Serving is great and super friendly. Food kept topping one over the other. Make sure to have space for their delicious dessert. Food is Cooked to perfection , 100% recommend to make a reservation as they are super packed.“
“My favorite high end sub shop located downtown. They use fresh, quality ingredients and offer a unique atmosphere with style and flare. I recommend the eggplant or classic Italian but they are all quite delicious. Enjoy. Big Blue out.Parking: Parking lot is small but most people are coming and going with relative ease. That said it can and does get busy downtown so be warned.“
“I can't say enough about this place! Not only is the pizza stellar, Fredi is a great humanitarian doing so much for the autistic community with his foundation (fredithepizzaman foundation). The ambiance is like an old school New York pizzeria and the service is great! If you're a pizza aficionado you need to try this place. Highly recommend!“
“I went here with some friends for dinner and drinks. The place is kind of small but also very cute and open. The kitchen is open is an open concept, so you can see what the chef's are up to and see them make pasta as well. We sat at the bar, and the service and drinks were great! The food was so tasty and fresh. The linguine al granchio has a nice light lemon taste to it , while the Tarre al Tartufo is a light but savory truffle taste. I highly recommend both, as well as the fish, which was very fresh!!“
“UPDATE: I have been here multiple times and the place NEVER FAILS to impress. Some, if not the best drinks in Detroit. They stock hard to find bourbons and will take you on a cocktail journey with customized drinks simply based on your tastes. The food is always wonderful. If there is EVER Arctic Char on the menu...order it! I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough. One of my favorites of all time!Great place with awesome staff members and phenomenal drinks. Get the Cork & Gable old fashioned...$25 but so flipping good.Sept 22- Still one of the best, if not THEE best craft cocktail places in the city. John is an F'ing wizard with spirits and one of the main reasons we come. Food is absolutely fantastic as well.“
“Excellent cute, unique place! Outstanding service and amazing food. Great menu and definitely well executed. We loved everything about the decor and the vibe! It makes you feel like you're on vacation.... either in Miami, California or even a cruise! The drink menu is unique and satisfies all sorts of different tastes. I loved the 59’ BIARRITZ ON SUNSET. If you like a little bit of a stronger drink, the MOTOWN BEETS is worth trying too!The Beef Tartare was delicious. As well as the Huge MF short rib, the Rigatoni Ragout, and the Margherita Pizza. They were all PERFECT in their own category. There were no leftovers in our party of 4... nothing to even clean off the plates. The Toasted Pistachio Caffe Latte was excellent! Also, their deserts are to die for. We had the Detroit Chocolate Cake and the Warm Apple Crostata, and even though they're big enough to share, we really didn't want to. Sorry, not sorry. LolOur waitress Carrie was OUTSTANDING! HATS OFF to her!We will definitely be back!Parking: There's plenty of paid street parking at a very decent hourly rate. If not, valet is also an option.“
“Alpino is a very good restaurant. The chef doesn't overwhelm you with choices, but I recommend checking the menu before you go since there may not be something for you.If you haven't had the Swiss/Alpine style food before, I recommend you explore the menu, and I'm confident you won't be disappointed. It is very reasonably priced and the staff was very, very friendly and super helpful with the menu.“
“Very tasty crispy chewy pizza!...sauce is awesome...workers are super nice and friendly!... definitely coming back again!...ordered the meatsiah as our first pizza to try and can't wait to try more!Parking: Parked on the side street where the coney island is locatedKid-friendliness: Atmosphere is great....wouldn't mind having my kids go with me to pick up pizza“
“My husband and I have been there many times over 20 years. Great customer service, amazing food. The price is very reasonable and good size portions. If you see a line, that tells you their food is worth the wait in line.. Always and forever a devoted customer.“
“I’m celiac and there this is the only restaurant I have found that has incredible food (that I can eat!) at great prices with an incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff. The food is incredible regardless of dietary restrictions but wow is it some of the best food I’ve had since losing gluten.“
“DIB is a staple of the Dearborn Community. They offer a large variety of baked goods, as well Italian products such as noodles, candies, etc. They are famous for their delicious marinara and meat sauces, their pizza rolls, their lasagna, and their pizzas and subs. Their breakfast pizzas are amazing! I introduced them to my co workers and now some of these people that live in Southgate, Trenton and Wyandotte drive all the way here to get lasagna or pizza. Absolutely worth stopping in.Parking: Plenty of parking except at peak times, but you can park on the side street if need be.“
“Beautiful environment, amazing food, and wonderful staff. My girlfriend and I sat down for the first time and realized pretty quick that a lot of the neighboring tables were regulars with good relationships to the servers. Speaking of, we were served and cared for by Liz who was absolutely incredible - even on a busy night with every table occupied, she still gave us 100% attention and patience. We will be returning again, and I can guarantee you will too!“
“My family went on Feb 24th, about 12 of us. Emo was our waitors in dearborn. He was excellent!! My whole family think the same. I would ask for him always. The food was great as well. They even set us up even though we called late and they still were able to set us up for our party. They went above and beyond to to make our special day happen.“
“Small restaurant with a nice ambiance. Our meals were a hit and miss. Bread and olive oil were phenomenal. Kale Caesar, Brussel Sprouts and the Chicken Piccata were all incredible. Noodles tasted like they were made from scratch, which is always a plus. The Chicken Piccata was a limited time special on their “Italian American” feature.I was not a fan of the Pepperoni Pizza, perhaps as a personal preference I did not like flavor combo with the hot honey. We also got Lamb Chops. They tasted very good, but not good enough to warrant the $65 price for only 3 pieces. Will likely return to try their other menu items.“
“Stopped in for brunch after the parade today and was amazed. The food was sooooo good. It felt like I was on a mini vacation with all of the greenery and comfy seating. I’ll be back for dinner this week! On a side note, there was a great room for private parties!“
“I was looking for a new restaurant to try for lunch and came across ZZ Market & Grill. They have a ton of selections that are fresh and made to order. I decided to try the corned beef sandwich on onion roll (no coleslaw or sauerkraut) with extra sauce. I also ordered the garlic Parmesan tater tots and they were nice and crispy as requested. Portion size was plentiful, so I had lunch for two days lol. The food was hot and delicious and I'm definitely adding this to my list lunch spots in Detroit!“
“After returning to Detroit from the vibrant streets of Mexico, where the sun always shines, I found solace in the comforting embrace of El Brazon. Tucked away amidst the gray and cold skies, this gem of a restaurant beckoned me with promises of authentic Mexican flavors.Navigating through the inconspicuous rear entrance from the parking lot, we found ourselves welcomed into a cozy interior. While reservations are advisable, we managed to secure a table for two without much delay. Although the decor leaned towards simplicity, it served as a stark contrast to the explosion of flavors awaiting us in the dishes.Opting for indoor seating over the covered outdoor area, we were promptly attended to by the bustling staff. Their efficiency ensured that our dining experience was not only swift but also filled with warmth and hospitality. We indulged in a shared salad followed by a traditional Mexican dish, both of which exceeded our expectations in terms of taste and authenticity.Remarkably, within a mere 45 minutes, we had savored every bite and found ourselves reluctantly bidding farewell to El Brazon. Its convenient parking and secure location offered a sense of ease, distinct from the hustle and bustle of downtown Detroit—a factor that drew us to this hidden culinary haven. In conclusion, for a taste of Mexico without leaving the comfort of Detroit, I wholeheartedly recommend El Brazon. From its delectable cuisine to its efficient service and cozy ambiance, it is a dining experience worth savoring time and time again.“
“If you lived in downriver all your life it's a not so secret that we go here for birthdays or anniversary here. It's a great place for couples to co-workers celebrating a birthdays. I moved out of state for 10yrs and came back and it feels such a welcome back feeling and the food is soooo freaking good!! It never disappoints!!!“
“Went for dinner on Saturday night the place was packed we where offered to take the bar we did. We only had drinks (you can eat at the bar) service and drinks where amazing! We decided it would be best to make reservations and come back for dinner. Great place.“
“This was my first stop on my first day in Detroit. Delicious pizza. The older bartender lady was a bit pre-occupied with someone else at the bar (whom she clearly knew). That's why I docked a stars for service. But everyone else was nice and attentive.“
“Second time here I bought a little variety of food this time. Chocolate chunk cookies ?. I had a sub their Italian dressing is amazing! The Italian wedding soup was a little bland for me. The lasagna was very cheesy and needed a little more sauce. It is a little pricey and the parking is snug. I will be back.“
“Today was my first time here. I had the prime rib dinner. The prime rib wasn't really my cup of tea. But the other person with me loved it! You pretty much get like 3 sides with it. The prime rib is hugeeee. My side pasta was really good. Oh and the bread sticks! I did NOT need these in my life hahaha. ADDICTING!I was shocked at how cheap our meal was. $42 for two people seems pretty fair to me with all the food we got! I'll be back for sure!“
“We love Sammy's Cucina! We are never disappointed with their food, service or better yet, the prices! My husband would eat here every day if I would allow it! Thank you Sammy and staff for always, always, working so hard to service your customers and our community! You care and it is always evident. See you soon!“
“Great food and fine dining experience but they will happily zap you with the unprecedented price gouge that comes straight from ownership. He purposely keep misleading prices on the online menu to lure you in.Will return again though, even with the ridiculous prices for some items. If you go be sure to ask for Marco!!!“
“Stop here for the 1st time today and ordered a Lunch #12 and have to say it was huge!! There was more meat on it than other places that sell 12/2's. Vinnie, Gonellas, Cordial Shop all have great Italian subs but this one had more meat than the others! I chose the spicy dressing and it was good. Fast friendly service. I will go back but will probably step down to a 8. I ate about 7 hours ago and am still full!“
“Dined in with our family of 5, which includes 3 kids who are 11,9, and 7. Dinner was great. Food not only looked amazing but tasted the same. Service was as good as it gets. Really a great place to eat. The kids absolutely loved every bit of it. We will definitely be back.“
“Pizza was outstanding, hot & delicious & servings were generous. I loved the salad! It was great to see Tony M. & the staff & the remodel makes the place look great! I will miss the old booths & memories from high school will have to do. I wish that I had taken pictures!“
“Always a great spot for traditional thinner crust specialty pizzas. It's a few notchs above your average pizza spot. And love that they have both halal meats as well as 18in. pizzas. I drive almost 25mins to get here, but it's worth it!“
“Incredible pizza! We would rank this amongst the best pizza that we have ever had - anywhere. Everything with the pizza was perfect. The pizza was ready for exactly when they said it would be. It is not cheap, but you are getting what you pay for.“
“This is a gemstone of a store , they have so much to offer. It has been owned by many generations of family members that care about the product that they sell. They have wonderful cooked foods ready to heat up and believe me the meat is tender . You can pickup meats , desserts and so many different wines and beverages for a wonderful end of day. My father is just I love with the biscotti’s there. The staff there is wonderful. Thank you ?“
“The atmosphere is amazingly relaxing. The food is beyond spectacular ?. Deliciously flavorful. The service is excellent . I have dine in and also ordered to go and the food and service is the same as if dine in . I love and recommend this place . The owner and or chef is doing an amazing job.“
“I use to like the Pizza and cheesebread a lot but last couple of times I don't really like it that much because is like they are putting a new ingredient., don't know if is Orégano or something else but it doesn't taste the same.“
“I loved the fact when I walk in I seen Trump flags . Glad to see your support for someone we need right now . Also they have Biden toilet paper , very impressive . I just don’t know how you got mom’s spaghetti on you ? Borrow 50cent from Dre and get a disposable adult bib from the vending machine.“
“Staff is welcoming and attentive. They are good at expediting the meal at a reasonable pace. Our family really enjoyed the variety of food. It was nice to find a place that had upscale food (Ribeye was amazing) and child friendly food. Even though we were full after dinner, we had to try the limoncello and chocolate cakes. Every thing met or exceeded our expectations. The live music was an added bonus. We will definitely be returning soon!Kid-friendliness: Brick oven pizza was amazing and the kids loved the pepperoni on the pizza. The live music kept the kids entertained and away from videos on their phones.Wheelchair accessibility: They have plenty of space between the tables to easily move around.“
“The young man who took my order was very caring, as I have special dietary needs. He was helpful, considerate, and aided me to the best of his ability. There are people who care, and then therr are people who pretend to care. This young man cares, and does an excellent job. His work reflects the company. My order arrived promptly, and my food was absolutely delicious <3Thank You. <3I called in for a delivery Tuesday night, about 8 am, August 1 for a delivery, and any kudos to be given I want going for the young man who prepared and delivered my order. Wonderful restaurant/food“
“Wise Guys is a nice little restaurant with great friendly staff with a cool ambiance. They have live music as well ( although the music was too loud for our liking ). We will definitely be back for more of this place. They have other businesses on-site as well. Salute... A catering event area on the lower level, along with a smaller, more intimate dining experience at the Roc restaurant, also on the lower level.“
“If you like an absolutely packed bar. This place is for you. If you also like a dead empty bar, this is also for you. Me and our buddies play pool here and grab drinks on the weekends and enjoy a less crowded bar. However, during events or games, it can often be a bit packed. The bartenders are great, and the owner is very xhill.“
“Best real Italian food I have had . Authentic and the food is always fresh. ?Dietary restrictions: Honestly everything I've tasted isn't saturated with sodium like most foods in restaurants. Anything I've have tried there is healthy made with the finest ingredients. From the olive oil to the pasta, cheeses and bread.“
“I am so impressed with the Chefs, server and location. The food was one of the best meals I have had in a long time and I want to thank the Chef or Chefs! Our server Jackie was wonderful and respects what she represents at Riccardo's and ofcourse their location in Amherstberg is perfect, but it really does come down to the food made in house, nothing less than clean excellent quality food! What a terrific place to have a meal, prices are so reasonable. Thank you Jackie, the Chefs and Riccardos!“
“One of the best pizza places downriver. And I reccomend the breadsticks over the cheesey bread. Just trust me. They make them extra buttery and loaded with parmesean cheese and although you can feel your arteries clogging while eating them you can't stop eating them.“
“Old Establishment...1955. Age appropriate decor. The entrance at the back is little dated, warm service and good food. Not many beers on tap, but a good bottled collection.Parking: Good lighted parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendly place with lot of room for kids to move around as well as to park strollers“
“Their lasagna dinner, their Baked Mostaciolli, their pizza, and their Breadsticks are just delicious.Portions are big, and the price is right. We order either delivery or takeout at least once a week. We have dined in as well.Customer Service is Outstanding! It's our favorite Italian restaurant in the Downriver area.Parking: Parking is usually packed, but there is plenty in the back.“
“I ordered 2 1/2 pans of Alfredo for my daughter’s first birthday! And boy it was a hit, everyone asked where it came from! They fill their pans FULL! And it was delicious! Communication was great setting up everything and pick up time was great they even did it in their non business hours! If you havnt tried it run don’t walk!“
