Cozy really is the best way to describe this place. The way the place is decorated has a certain sense of nostalgia, and really makes me think of happier times growing up. Cozy place with great food. Sit in a booth or belly up to the dining counter. Love the atmosphere. Great menu with lots of comfort food. The grilled pastrami on rye, with a dash of hot deli mustard, was excellent. Definitely give it a go.Parking: Free parking around back of the restaurant. Parking appears to be limited. It was not crowded on the day that I came for lunch, but I could see that a lunch rush might cause parking difficulties.

Uncle Harry’s is the best deli on the East Side of metro Detroit with amazing deli food. It alsoHas style: photos of Harry and his family and famous visitors are all over. My favorite is the Donna (corned beef, pastrami, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing). Also love the pickles and the soup.
