We LOVED all of their food especially their chicken and breakfasts and well lunches were awesome too but then they decided they were not going to serve food anymore just ice cream! When we heard that our hearts just broke! Double Deuce Diner was the best Diner ever! I heard all of this happened due to politics in our little towns government a power struggle ...cso we heard anyway ..and well the government won so here we are with a second ice cream store and left out in the cold !! I am basing my rating on the diner when it served food. Not just ice cream!”

“Tried this fantastic diner October 2021, and will be back tomorrow March27th 2022 for the best Country Fried Steak I have ever had. I enjoy Country Fried Steak for breakfast, and this has been the very best. Can hardly wait.Had the country fried steak breakfast, and it was fantastic! March 21, 2024 had the great Country Fried steak and it is still fantastic.”

“This place got new owners a couple years ago and it’s been TOTALLY different. In a GOOD way. I used to avoid getting pizza here but now I’m a regular. The new owner is there almost every day and he’s really doing it right. Highly highly highly recommend hungry Howies in Stockbridge!”

“I've always loved going to portage lake for some nice getaway and camping. Patty's has always been a landmark in the Waterloo area and is a must when I'm in the area.Their pizza is honestly really good. Made fresh and to your liking. Prob the best pizza in the area. You won't be disappointed. The place has nearly everything you'll need and is a must if in the area.”

“A hidden gem that's worth the drive! We have known about this place for a long time but never made the trek and now we are kicking ourselves for waiting so long. We bought a little of everything, and it was all fantastic! The almond croissant, the almond bar, and sourdough bread were highlights. We bought a couple of frozen chicken pot pies to have for dinner later. We were lucky that while we were there they were roasting garlic in the ovens for (I think) their garlic cheddar bread, and it smelled delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful, and we can't wait to be back! Do yourself a favor and make a trip to get something fresh, but their products are also available at Arbor Farms Market, and other locations around SE Michigan.”

“They serve pizza at the Cafe and the actual pizza area is takeout only. The layout is a bit confusing but the statue out front was pretty cool. For some reason I was expecting to dine inside the pizza area based on description. No worries i was still happy to visit. The roast beef dipper is the best in jackson county. Finally, the au jus doesn't over power the sandwich itself and you can taste the meat. The sauce on the pizza is out of this world and the salad tasted like it just came out of someone's back yard. And all for a super super reasonable price. I told my boyfriend I felt like I was back in the 90s in this restaurant with the nostalgia and how the food tasted. We will definitely be back and I encourage others to check it out!Kid-friendliness: Nice family oriented restaurant.”

“If you're in the area and need staples for the family, definitely stop here. I love our little Country Corner. This place is the perfect example of the country store. They Always have that staple that you forgot to grab at the grocery store and whether it's your first time in the door or the 500th, everyone treats you like you've been there since day one. Y'all are great!”

“Came here last Friday for fish. We both grew up in Wisconsin where Friday fish fry's are a way of life. I I had the cod and my wife had perch. Neither one of us was disappointed. We will be back.”

“This Subway is conveniently located inside the Mugg and Bopps gas station. It may be small, but it gets the job done when it comes to freshly made sandwiches on the go. Today I stopped in to ease my pregnancy cravings and Collin did a great job accommodating to my needs and providing outstanding customer service.I ordered a number 18 which is an Italian BMT and boy did it hit the spot! Collin was friendly, super nice, and I really enjoyed our conversation we shared while he made my lunch. He listened to what I wanted, didn’t make any mistakes, and was more than happy to toast my sub twice. Even though the system was having issues, he kept his cool and patiently waited to slide my card to have my rewards added to my account. The receipt also took a while to spit out, but we both had a good laugh about it.What is interesting is you do not pay at the counter where your food is made. You take the receipt to the front counter of the gas station and pay up there. They do accept coupons and use the rewards system here as well.The only ingredient they do not carry here is the fresh avocado. Other than that, they have everything else you could need or want to put on your sandwich.I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner made by awesome sandwich artists who treat you with respect and have positive attitudes.On a side note - When I usually stop in here, I see Devin always working alone in the evenings. He is a great guy with a wonderful personality and has some good stories to share. Hopefully the owner or manager sees this review and gives both Devin and Collin a raise for being fantastic employees and for always showing up to work even though they are short staffed.”

“I ordered the Chocolate Mexican cake with a touch of cayenne as a birthday surprise for my partner. It was fantastic! Our guests loved the cake and asked who made it. The writing on the cake was elegant and fit the occasion. It was difficult to find for someone who doesn't know the ins and outs of West Asheville. The cross street is Hoover.”
