This has been our go-to for coffee and pastries every morning of our Rome stay. We love this place and the coffee is excellent. We are very sad that we won’t begin every day at Cafe Gourmet again.
First night in Italy and could not find the restaurant we were looking for but saw this cafe as we walk by and it looked fun. It was more than just fun, the food was terrific especially the carbonara. Wow this is what real pasta tastes like. The house wine was very nice smooth and full bodied. We had a lot of great food while we were in Italy and this was among the best.

We were looking for a nice place with outside dining as it was a nice evening. This had it. Unfortunately there was a bit of a language barrier. We got our water and drinks fairly fast, and I got my pasta fast as well. But my wife's pasta took well over an hour as there was a misunderstanding of some sort--one of the waiter staff did not speak English well. But when it came it was some of the best gnocchi we'd ever had. Anywhere. So the food is great, but make sure you are understood....read full review
