A friend was having a chicken contest for her birthday - that is, a bunch of us brought fried chicken from different places to try - which gave me an excuse to try Hola Seoul's chicken. First off: there's no actual Hola Seoul location, it's located inside Dae Jang Keum (sp?). When you arrive, there's a table for pickup, but it's actually for DoorDash and GrubHub drivers, so I asked an employee and he went and found my takeout. The skin on the wings is super crispy, the sauces are sticky-goodness, I love both the soy garlic and the korean sassy sauces, so thankfully they offer half and half. I think the giant steamed dumplings may be better in person (due to the panny, I was getting delivery), but the deep fried dumplings are quite good! I always get an extra side of pickled radish because it’s a fave of mine and they do it right.

After a long day of traveling, I'd stopped by this Korean fried chicken place to pick up dinner and next day's lunch. I can said the chicken wings do hold up, still crispy the next day. The bento is more than enough for two along with the bimibap. The flavors are consistent with what I'd had over in Seoul, some of the side dishes are off but that's life.
