Well I don’t think this place actually exists. Came looking for food and found gelato instead. Not exactly disappointed though since Izzy’s gelato is awesome! But yeah, there is no sign for this place outside or inside. It’s the pumpernickel inn and then Izzy’s. Maybe at some point it was and now it’s not? Very confusing. Didn’t find the lunch we were looking for, but found some yummy gelato.

SO Wonderful! Everything we've ever had here is delicious. FRESH ingredients, so many healthy options. Great homemade soups. Palazollo gelato--THE BEST GELATO outside of Italy. Friendly wait staff. Clean, and we love the casual atmosphere. The cafe also has other things you might want to pick up like pie, cake, muffins, specialty coffees, teas, etc. GO!

If I could give zero stars I would. Tried to get some food - there were five of us and they wouldn't let us sit down because the one large table was taken. Waitress/hostess was extremely rude. Very unwelcoming. I don't think they really wanted customers.

I love their breakfasts, especially the inexpensive prices of omelettes. Coffee is great and several choices. Free WiFi doesn't hurt!

Went in at 12:15 on a Sunday afternoon. Only 2 other tables with customers (4 total customers). The hostess stated they could not serve our group (3 adults, 2 kids), because she "didn't want to overwhelm the only cook". At least 6 empty tables. It was very rude! Spoke to some locals who said this is typical for the Casual Chef Cafe. Avoid this place for meals! Coffee and gelato might be okay, but we won't patronize this establishment.

This place is NOT closed and seems to be doing a great business. Fresh and delicious food. Great chef-made soups. Palazollo gelato. It's a small operation so some days it's not McDonald speed service but the wait staff are friendly. Clean, and we love the casual atmosphere too. Our go-to place.
