“I haven't tried the food yet but I will edited my review once I have. From what I saw the food look amazing. I really enjoyed the Pool table and the way the bar made me feel cozy. The waiters were on point when I ran out of drink they were on it. I personally feel like the hourly rate on the tables are high. After talking to the workers and how often they take care of their stuff I believe it's perfect. I will be coming back when I am in Grand Rapids“
“Great spot if your in the area! Great food selection, freshness, and prices. Service was as quick as it could be for the busy Saturday night it was.Parking: Open strip mall- plenty of spotsKid-friendliness: Even with a bar, kid friendly options. Also a photobooth and touchtunes music - kids had a good time.“
“Great place for food and drinks. Very chill environment and I've been coming since they opened. Favorite place in town by far. They have amazing burgers. I know it's picky but had to give food only four stars due to the ranch there. Love ranch dressing and I can honestly say it's the most watered down flavorless one I've had in 43 years. Thicker .“
“I just discovered Tip Top! Went to see one of my favorite bands there. What an AWESOME place and what AWESOME people. The atmosphere is spot on. The perfect venue to see a performance. Food and drinks were great The staff treated us like regulars, like they've know us for years. I live an hour and a half away but will DEFINITELY be returning often! Thanks for the experience!“
“My first visit, I tried their Sesame Chicken Poutine for the Michigan Street Poutine Challenge. Wish I could've gotten the gravy to go, lol. TastyAlso got the Shot of the Day: American Tea & it was cocktail sized.Had a nice time dining & talking to the bartender/chef.“
“Charlie's has to be one of my favorite places to eat ever. Super friendly staff, Charlie herself comes by every single time. Wait staff and bartenders are all great. Tracy was our server tonight, possibly the best service we've ever had! The food was also great, especially the mussels and the potato skins. Fried pollack is hand breaded. Smelt battered in house too. Kids Mac and cheese, Charlie brings candy for the kids. What's not to love? If we could, we'd go every week.“
“First time here on Friday night and enjoyed it for what it was - a fun little local spot. They had live entertainment that night which we really enjoyed. Service was great and so was the food. We got the deep fried tacos and southwest egg rolls. We will be back!“
“Absolutely brilliant place that we found by chance whilst exploring Grand Rapids. They are dog friendly, unlike nearly everywhere else nearby, so our greyhound laid by our table and was given a piece of bacon by the staff! The service was fantastic and attentive, including drinks suggestions. The food was delicious and we couldn't finish it all because the portions were so generous. Generally a great atmosphere, and we wouldn't hesitate to come back next time we're in GR!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp in at rear entrance.“
“First time going, and I will be back.Great selection of menu items. It was what I was expecting, based on other reviews. I ordered the shrimp salad, and couldn't have been better. My wife had the tacos and loved them. I would definitely recommend this place.“
“I had potatoe skins and pork rinds. They were tasty. Service was a bit slow. The atmosphere was fine.Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of gluten-free options. Wouldn't advise if one is Celiac or hyper sensitive to gluten.Parking: Large parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Disability parking spaces and ramp access.“
“This is definitely one of the best hometown bars I have been to. We were "newbies" but still made to feel welcome. The staff was on top of everything and very friendly. Definitely looking forward to attending Chruch at the Birch on Sunday.“
“I must say I will be back! Stacey was top notice service and made my time here worth a night stay! Food was good ordered the nachos a little cold but good! Time for food wasn’t too bad and drinks was a great selection- I drove 2 hours to come here and well worth the experience at this place. Thanks Stacey for your friendly and warming touch“
“Holidays are hard if they hit capacity before you arrive. Go early. Miss the days where there were reservations available but post-covid...adjust positively right?! Plan ahead.Parking: Again, they pack it in. Everyone loves THB. Ditto, me too!! Go early. If you go during bar hour, plan to be patient looking for a parking spot.“
