“We went here after a very long day. And it was st Patrick's day, but despite the loud atmosphere on that evening, I look forward to visiting again. The food was delicious, and despite the crowd, service was fast!Just watch out for the Amtrak train that barrels through the intersection...“
“Food was good! ????Nice place to come with your family or friends for dinner or event. They have plenty of spot.We all know that special thing here is for you to cook your own steak on the black rock that made from volcanic rock. ?☄️cooking stones are handmade by Italian artisans from the volcanic rock of Mount Etna. The stones are crafted to the optimal thickness in order to retain heat, meaning that your food will stay hot for longer and every bite will be just as hot as the lastI recommend this place! Must try!! ??“
“Our server was GREAT, food was good and prices were decent. It's a bit small and cramped for those with walkers or wheelchairs, but it's manageable. The staff was very accommodating.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp on the side of the building, you have to ring the doorbell to be let in that way. It's a bit of a tight squeeze inside the building, but manageable. They have both booths and tables. Bathrooms are accessible.“
“It's an excellent low-key place to have a beer and a burger. I live within walking distance and have been known to show up twice in one week! The staff are friendly and attentive, even when things are busy--I was in the Saturday of St. Patrick's Day weekend and still received excellent service. My favorite time is mid-afternoon: it's a quiet and friendly place to people-watch out the front windows and eat some generally delicious pub food, whether alone or with friends!“
“Nice hangout spot. Could definitely see myself going back. The veggie sandwich didn’t have much to it, and the burger was just okay. But the crampus mule was delicious. They have some of the best mozzarella sticks we’ve had in awhile, and their fries and chips are very good. My friend had the poutine and seemed to like it.“
“This is the second HopCat location I've been to and so far, we're 2/2. We got here around 6 on a weekday; just missing happy hour. Wasn't too busy but more people started to trickle in as the night went on. We sat at the bar but wouldn't have had any issue getting a table/booth. Didn't seem short staffed at all; which was a nice change of pace since we're still post covid. Our drinks and food came out quickly. Highly recommend the Buffalo chicken dip!! They have mocktail options too! The BBQ chicken Cobb salad was delicious and my husband chose to get poutine as his entree. Great choice. However, When it came time to get our check, it took them a bit. Our drinks and plates sat empty for about 15 minutes. Many bartenders were deep in conversation with customers; which was great to see how friendly everyone was. But, it also showed they forgot about others at times. We had to intervene on a conversation and ask if we could get our check. The bartender was a good spirit about it & acknowledged the issue. Way to take ownership! Parking is available on the street but also across the way in the garage. Super easy and convenient. I do think this place needs an update. The downtown Detroit location is a little more renovated and airy; while you feel like you're in a darker setting when you come into this one. Older decor. Kind of the same feel as other downtown Ann Arbor restaurants. That won't stop us from coming back!“
“1st time going to this establishment was today for my granddaughter’s baby shower. I can honestly say the food and service was awesome. My daughter is a picky eater and doesn’t care for eggs but she ate salad and quiche and loved it. I would definitely go back and recommend it to my family and friends.“
“This was a great find as my friends and I wondered around Ann Arbor. Only in Ann Arbor for the weekend and wanted to go to a couple places we don't have at home and this place fit the bill. We only had a couple appetizers but they were fabulous. The three of us split the small order of chicken bites and the stack of Diversifries. This is a combination of all their different types of fries and sauces for them. Plenty for us along with our beverages. Our waitress was very friendly and helped us decide on our choices for food and beverages. We would definitely return if in the area.“
“Once or maybe twice a year we voyage to Ann Arbor from Boston tk take in our beloved Michigan Wolverines play in the big house and this is our FIRST stop. We love Regents Field. Friday when we arrive and again for NFL Sundays. Food, atmosphere, service, THE BEST cucumber gimlet in the business, all make this a 5 star across the board!!! Chicken Reuben, the wings, the fried pickles, the burgers. All LIGHTS OUT!!!! Thank you Regents Field, we love you!!“
“Food was wonderful. Service was friendly. Unfortunately the place was too busy for them to handle. Bingo night was packed. Took over an hour for food to arrive at the table. Right next to the local theater. Parking is non-existent. You either use curb side or share with local church or condos.“
“We go there for the Friday night Karoke and pizza! Heard they might not be bringing it back, when I called up there. Hope that is NOT true. Looking forward to more kids being brave enough to get up in front of a crowd of strangers and sing their hearts out.“
“Nice spot, was busy when we got there. TVs all over with sports coverage, can get a little loud but nice. Food was solid. Wouldn’t go out of my way to come here but if you’re in the area and need something simple and easy this works! Enjoyed our meal though for sure, certainly not a bad experience just not somewhere I would be craving and rushing back to.Had the shrimp/avocado salad - we added some bacon and Gorgonzola from the other salad we ordered and that made it more enjoyable. Tried a few apps - the beef tips and burnt ends - both good; both came with fried onion strings. Burnt ends had good flavor but a bit on the fatty side (just like overly fatty). The aperol spritz was disappointing, barely any flavor - definitely didn’t do the ratios correctly. Our server was nice enough but clearly didn’t want to be there or do more than the bare minimum.Overall good, and the place is busy and popular, just wouldn’t be my first choice. Just was ok for the price.“
“A bit pricey for what it was but good was pretty good, especially the pepperoni bread app we got. With tip I paid over $50 for 2 people for 1 basic entree and 2 apps and 1 soda. I took photos of the menu since it’s not currently posted anywhere.“
“The Tap Room is a historic bar in Downtown Ypsilanti. The service is fantastic. Particularly Tawny and Justin, they are amazing! The food is perfect bar food. The whiskey and beer selection are on point. You can shoot pool or just kick back and chill. It’s the perfect neighborhood bar.“
