“This place misunderstood by my best friend (i’ve known her since kindergarten) although i did not doubt you speedy’s. i love you speedy’s. when we got our food (there were many potholes but it was my friends cars so all is well). once we figured out the tricky parking situation (we can’t read) we walked into this fine establishment and were pleasantly greeted by a clean environment. the kitchen was clean and so was the dinning facilities. we had walked up to the counter and was greeted by the woman who answered the phone are took our order (she called my friend sweetheart over the phone and once that happened we knew were in good hands). our order was already ready and we were low-key early. this amazing beautiful woman gave us our food and was so nice to us. the chef looked lowkey chill. vibes were all over the place and they were amazing and beautiful. i love all these lovely people and may god bless them. the food smelled absolutely fire and the milkshakes look like that one old guy on tiktok who owns that 90 year-old ice cream parlor made them. the drive although short was incredibly long and suffocating. finally we arrived in the motherland (my friends apartment). we walked into the place mouths foaming like we have rabies or something. (search up “rabies pride tumblr”side quest). we opened our meals and finally grubbed. food was delicious amazing, tender, loving, beautiful, juicy, and meaty. mmmmmmmmmmmmm we are carnivorous beings. when all is said and done the food was good, vibes from the staff were chill as hell. fries were mid as hell tho. get them well done and they would be a amazing. with peace and love overall 4.5/5 god bless you speedy’s big burgers never get ozempic“
“We order from here often, and this is one of the best vegan friendly restaurants we've been to in Ypsi. The food is reasonably priced and quite good. The hot ginger tonic is incredible too.Vegetarian options: Mostly veganDietary restrictions: Great for vegans!“
“The food was delicious, the staff was very helpful & friendly. There was a huge variety of Hershey’s Ice Cream and other desserts like cakes, pies, etc. I will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: HalalKid-friendliness: Family friendly, cool atmosphere“
“The Rouges were a delight to watch! The hometown earthy feel of this pub was a great setting to listen to local bands as we celebrated St. Patrick's Day this weekend. They drew a friendly crowd and were very accommodating as people enjoyed the show. The view was sometimes blocked by onlookers standing, but that's to be expected for this type of event. What a fun local place to gather!“
“The service was great I hadn't been here in years and I will be back great prices and the staff G and Nor was amazing quick and the food was fresh with a lobby full of people. Thanks!Kid-friendliness: Great for kids food and ice cream can't beat it!“
“We went here after a very long day. And it was st Patrick's day, but despite the loud atmosphere on that evening, I look forward to visiting again. The food was delicious, and despite the crowd, service was fast!Just watch out for the Amtrak train that barrels through the intersection...“
“I get delivery from Cristy's fairly often, strong recommend, but I had the chance to go there today and it's a lovely place. If you went to a Wendy's before 2008, it's got that vibe, not like the super dense brightly lit hostile architecture dinning rooms of major fast food brands. It's comfortable, and chill. It feels like a place you're supposed to be in. The food is definitely better fresh, I'll be visiting again, but Cristy's delivered is still one of the best burgers in town.“
“Chill place with semi-alt vibe..My husband and I stopped in here for a simple date night dinner. The korean bbq loaded tots were fun with an elevated taste. We ordered thre burger with the fried green tomato & house made pimento cheese - absolutely delectable. However the charizo tacos were very greasy and lacked the excitement that the other two dishes shined with. Their ciders and beers are of the plently. Cannot wait to return and try something different (;“
“Outstanding experience with great appreciation for the ambiance with incredible food with two helpings at the buffet of the broccoli cheese soup. I dine out a lot. I'm an old man. Way back in the day when I was a kid growing up service was conducted in such a way that no matter what the employee was bringing to work that day they put it behind them. They were there to work and provide a service. This was a mindset in the day where the customer was always right. I never agreed with that but that mindset itself tells you of the utmost importance of satisfying a guest. Well that day is long gone. Occasionally I have great service but rarely due to the demise of what has happened to the workforce post pandemic. My server today Jenna was extraordinary. If every other server in the industry were like her maybe their tips would increase tenfold. I walked and right at 2:00 not knowing they had a buffet and that was the end of time but Jenna extended it. She told me what was left and it was most sufficient. I walked past the buffet to the restroom and I noticed about seven slices of pepperoni pizza. Upon my return a couple had just walked away from the buffet and there was one slice left. LOL minutes later there was an entire pizza because Jenna and formed the kitchen that it might be best to make another one. I was blown away at her thoughtfulness. Eventually she asked if it would be okay to break down the salad bar. Can you believe an employee would ask a guest if it would be okay. I said of course. She continued to let the hot food sit there and she did not rush me at all as well as the 12 top that came in at around 2:30. They ordered individual meals. She handled everything like a pro. I am writing this review first and foremost to call attention to her service and I hope she receives acknowledgment from her supervisors and the ownership. I am moving to town so I will be back. Thank you Jenna and the kitchen staff.“
“The best Red Robin I've visited. The burgers were delicious and so juicy. Everything was hot and fresh. Our server Abby was phenomenal and very quick to get refills and make sure we had everything we needed. Decently affordable as well.“
“The food was greasy, but that's what I was hoping for from steak and shake. Not a single vegetable in sight that didn't go on a burger. Shake was great, fries were a little under done for my taste. However, the place felt a bit dirty, the order kiosks were oddly placed, and the trash didn't seem to easily fit the tray liners.“
“What you'd expect from a local bar - and that's not a bad thing. Food was good and very reasonably priced. The beer was cold; a line up of the regulars with 3 good craft selections. Waitstaff was nice and attentive, never missing a refill or to ask if anything else was needed. All in all, this is a great place for a beer and a burger, watch a sports game, or chat with friends.“
“You don't find old school places like this much anymore!Food was inexpensive, greasy, very processed but freshly prepared and fried to order.Chicken was different, sort of a flat pounded tender that was almost tough, like it was cooked twice. Milkshake tasted like it was from a mix. Reminds you of the stuff you used to get growing up. Fries and onion rings were hot and super greasy. Pretty sure our ketchup packets were expired but we brought our own.Everything was hot, order was correct and the food was exactly what we were expecting from this sort of place. You will have better food elsewhere but why would you want to go there? This is the original Chick Inn! Please eat here and keep them around.“
“That had quick service today. Not always so. The place has cleaned up. They now have a couple of picnic tables as well as the benches. Parking is still limited and tight. Still some riff-raff hanging around, especially since a Marijuana dispensary opened next door. It's still a good place to get some ice cream.“
“UPDATE - Still delicious!!! Love coming here! Been atleast 30 years now... If you're looking for suggestions:Big squeeze with cheese add bacon, mustard, and katchup, along with everything else and a side of onion rings. This is practically the only place in town you can still get a burger like this; you'll understand once you've tried it. It's also cash only, so you'll need to bring cash, and don't forget a tip for the waitress; they help make the magic happen.?“
