“I was at a store near by and saw this place. I decided that it would be nice to have some chinese food. I ordered broccoli and chicken combo and picked it up. They give you a lot of food! I ate this meal for 3 days. They give you a lot of fried rice primarily. It was good but not as good as my usual. I would try them out again if I am in the area, especially if I want a few days wort of a meal.“

“I have been going to lucky garden since I was a little girl. I have always loved the place and it has always been my favorite Chinese restaurant. I have enjoyed the staff over the years and the food is delicious. When I was a child, there was a woman who waitressed and she knew our order by memory and there would be times we would go months without seeing them. It always surprised us that when we would return, she could remember our faces and our orders. She was always so kind and sweet. Unfortunately, I do not know her name but I always wondered how she was in life over time. I definitely have fond memories of her and this restaurant. Now, there are times where it hasn’t met my previous expectations, but it was far and in between. Today is my birthday and I wanted to go to my favorite Chinese place. In conversation, I mentioned my birthday and a a couple staff members—a young gentleman and a young lady— told me Happy Birthday. That was very sweet in general, but the young woman then went the extra mile and proceeded to ask me if I liked and wanted soup. I chose a flavor out of 3 and was given a container of soup for free for my birthday. It was very sweet and thoughtful and I am so grateful. Thank you for your service!“
“Moved here 8 long years ago and still hadn't found any Chinese food worth eating. Until a friend told us about China Chef Ypsilanti. It's only been a month and we ordered from them 4xs. I don't want to get sick of it. Egg Foo young and the gravy is a great brown gravy. The dumplings and sesame noodles are also great. Looking forward to trying something from each category.“

“Love the salt mine eggplant and green beans with pork. My wife and I always order a couple of favorites and something we've never tried before. The Americanized Chinese dishes are great, and we've always had good experiences with trying less familiar items. Lots to explore.“
“The hand pulled noodles are awesome as is the staff! Menu is expansive with apps, soups, and noodles. Only drawback is the atmosphere: cold spots in winter, ripped and semi-patched booths. But totally and utterly worth the great food and service. I get cravings to go back!“
