Loved our lunch today! Stopped in with our friends on our way through town. We really loved their famous Maid Rite sandwiches! OMG they were delicious. And our friends loved their burger and hot beef sandwich. We had seen the rating on yelp and pulled into the parking lot and I thought this could be sketchy. What a fun place! It felt a bit like a time-warp but the food was fast, delicious, and served with humor and a smile. The pie was AMAZING. Bring cash though, no credit cards accepted.Dietary restrictions: I would not recommend this place if you are counting calories or have dietary restrictions.
Loved everything about this spot - the service was friendly and welcoming - thank you, Charlotte! As out of towners we had no idea about the Maid Rites but Charlotte let us know the Barn is the only spot left in Minnesota still making them. SOLD! Chopped ground beef mixed with special seasoning blend, diced onion, pickles and mustard on a bun. It was terrific. Super soft bun, perfect amount of yellow mustard - salty pickles with the meat.
