I've always wanted to vist Amore. They're one of few places Uptown that has a rooftop. I love a lil' rooftop action in the Summer months. Located basically on Lake & Irving, parking in the back or on the street. **Rooftop access is in the back only and you MUST be able to walk up stairs, fyi!** Otherwise they have a dining room with access through the front on the corner of Irving and Lake. Great service, great food, and great ambience. Amore has been a part of uptown for as long as I remember. They have a wonderful rooftop which is perfect for summer afternoons and evenings. The best part of Amore for me is the halal menu.

Came in a few weeks ago with my husband and two nephews for an early dinner on the rooftop. We had some bruschetta to start and all ordered an entree each, it took an insanely long time to get our food with the few individuals who were on the rooftop with us. The chicken had an odd burnt flavor but my nephews and husband really enjoyed their pasta dishes. The service was friendly and super quick to refill drinks.
