I hadn't been here in years, but recently did for my birthday.Let me start by saying that I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to return. I enjoyed my visit and plan to return again soon.The food was absolutely delicious. Appetizers were the pierogi's, and the spinach artichoke dip. Both dishes were exceptional. If you've never been? Go. Nothing ever changes. It's a time warp. I'm surprised you can't still smoke at Jax. Classic supper club. Ya get yer shrimp cocktail, yer ceasar salad, and a huge slab of prime rib and wash it all down with a Gibson. All served to you by a waitress that's most likely worked there for 30 years and has an old timey name like "Dolores". Or you can always catch your own trout out of the stream on their garden patio, that's always fun.
