“I love the staff here! Always a great time, they're prompt and know their stuff. We're all in a hurry when we go to Starbucks and I appreciate their efficiency when rolling out the numerous orders. I spend no longer than 5/6 minutes at a busy time for coffee! So glad the team there is working great ??“

“I did the drive through not in store. But I was pleasantly surprised by the service at this location! The line moved so quickly and the drive through employee taking our order was incredibly personable, professional and efficient. We got a brunch order (hot items) with drinks for 3 people. And it was quicker than getting a few things at McDonald's. The food was perfectly warmed and fresh tasting and the drinks were exactly as desired. Definitely a good location with productive employees.“

“One of my favorite locations, especially because Barista Jen N. never makes my favorite drinks wrong! She also gives amazing recommendations, or create custom drinks that accommodates my tastes so well that I often order again! She's very welcoming and sweet!“

“My love of Starbucks goes back to 1993, which I would guess was when I first found them in Mpls. Other than Dunn Bros, SB was the first legit coffee seller I had come across. I then bought SB coffee daily and started acquiring a SB City Mug collection. I've included photos from my home, showing a portion of my 350+ array of mugs, from all over the planet. Obsession is not always a good or bad thing, but if you are in the market for old SB mugs, let me know! Anyway, 30 years later, SB is a global behemoth and their coffee is no longer anything special. When you enter the shop nearest to me, IDS Crystal Court, black coffee seems the least of it. It's such a small space, given the morning crowd, but it's virtually all to-go, especially for the crush of downtown workers getting the morning caffeine, bakery, fruit, sous vide eggs and all manner of espresso-based concoctions. SB sells coffee, technically, but it seems an afterthought. In fact, about 6-9 months ago, I'd noticed the coffee dispensers had subtly changed. Instead of flowing out of the spigot, it takes about 45 seconds for the cup to fill. The coffee is far less tasty, as if prepared on a Keurig. Ugh. Caveat emptor, coffee drinkers.“

“Grading on a curve, hours are severely limited, used to be a REAL NAAAAAAASTY CROWD but now that there's so much crime in town( (formor nastier crowd of of sociopaths is part of how it got this way), it's always got seating and the crowd is better than most of the University, best place at the University of Minnesota to chill as a non-student, but that's not saying much.“

“Inside the Marquette hotel, it is very busy, so there is a looooooooong wait even though you used the app to order ahead. I used the app to order 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees. The food was ready rather rapidly, and then we waited 13 minutes as we watched people that had ordered specialty coffees leave before us. When we questioned the batista she had a major attitude and responded "you have to be patient". 13 minutes for 2 cups of regular coffee that was already brewed. Skip this joint and go one block to the one in target where they have no attitude. This place is closed on Sundays.“

“I am on parental leave, and walked to this location while my baby was having a tough morning. Philip was so kind and knew I had a rough morning with an inconsolable baby and was beyond kind. He gave me, the frazzled new mom, needed caffeine on the house, and his thoughtfulness made me tear up. Philip made a tough day a little better, and I am so thankful!“

“Nothing than the ultimate customer experience I always get from Starbucks. Being new to this city was completely MISDIRECTED by Google Maps and consequently sent my online order to the wrong store. They not only made my order provided a few tips on navigating my way through the Downtown MPLS. area. Always super friendly and accommodating.“

“I don’t know why there’s so many negative reviews for this location! I’ve never had anything but fantastic service. Everyone working here is friendly, kind, and makes delicious drinks. They’re fast and get you what you ordered right away. Sometimes I’ve had to wait if there’s a big line or a lot of online orders coming in, but…they’re humans! They aren’t coffee making robots! Overall this location is peaceful, fast, and I prefer to go here every time. Much better than the other Starbucks on Hennepin, that one is always busy with a cramped parking lot and it takes forever to get your order. 10/10 love this spot!“

“The baristas here are always super efficient and super duper kind, even when a customer is being rude. My mobile orders are always complete early, and the atmosphere is great for studying. It's quieter in the mornings if you prefer that, but it does get pretty busy during mealtimes, so just be aware! There is no onsite parking, so I recommend walking if you can.“

“I am very pleasantly surprised at the high level of customer service, despite being a very busy location. They know me by name and they always have a smile. My go to drink here is the Nitro Cold Brew with a little bit of sweet cream. Shout out to Sean and Eric for being great managers. They have a great attitude and make my daily (sometimes more than daily) coffee habit one of the best parts of my day“

“I love the seasonal drinks…but I never know how to order them “less sweet” without over explaining myself. They made the best Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam Cold Brew I’ve ever tasted. On my way out, I thanked them for taking the time…and the barista said “absolutely…you are worth it!” This is the kind of customer connection that can carry over into someone’s entire day. My whole attitude toward this dreary Saturday has been turned around. This location isn’t anywhere near where I generally venture to…but I’ll be back. ☺️“

“This Starbucks is convenient for anyone near the U of M, and I've been here plenty of times. Compared to Starbucks further from campus, I don't feel like drinks are made quite as well or with quite as much care. However, the friendliness and service I've received here make up for it. For example: recently I ordered the new Acai drink and what I got in a cup was pretty much just sugary syrup over ice (it wasn't even pink like the picture), and when I questioned it they didn't hesitate to remake it correctly. I assume most employees are students and I've had nothing but pleasant exchanges with them.“

“I mean, what can you say about a Starbucks the hasn't already been said about a McDonald's? It's a corporate, consistent experience. If you want your money going to some far away corporate board, drink here. Otherwise go to a locally owned coffee house.“

“Nice option for a quick coffee while running errands. Not an ideal location for someone that is looking to grab and go quickly, typically has a slight wait for drinks and bites at this location, regardless of how busy they may be. Has everything that should be expected at a Starbucks location just at a slightly smaller scale to fit into the front of the Target. Baristas here seem generally uninterested, their drinks are good but far from mind blowing or consistently satisfying for the price.“

“These few reviews are so sad! I actually love the way this Starbucks looks, with the exception of the line. I think it's always odd when a place has you walk all the way in to order because it's not really the best flow, but I do understand that people mill about while waiting and you want that area to be the biggest spot. The modern large bench with little matching tables was super cute. It felt inviting and I sat right away even though my bf thought we were just grabbing coffee and going back to our hotel room.The service was nice and really fast, much like most Starbucks I've been to. I wasn't expecting to come here, as I don't usually go to Starbucks when I'm on vacation but it was super convenient being steps away from my hotel guest elevators.“

“Parking: There’s a small little strip mall I guess is what you would call it with three other shops in it and then Starbucks is at the end of the parking lot. So there’s limited parking for the Starbucks if the shops are busy. You pull in the same parking lot to go through the drive-through, so if the drive-through is busy, it can take you a minute to get into a parking spot.“

“I am a frequent customer, almost every Friday morning after I drop my son off at school I swing by Target and grab a coffee while I do some shopping... I want to give a shout out to Wei and say he's doing a great job! Wei was working diligently making everybody's coffee this morning and anouncing the drinks with confidence all while correcting and informing his associate of Starbucks standards. She failed to wear her name tag so I can't mention her name. She didn't greet me at the counter as if i was a person, she was looking around waiting for me to talk, I didn't order until she actually looked me in the eye. I heard her say while preparing my drink "well, this is easier" and Wei replied with professionalism "you Have to do it the same way". Anyways, thank you Wei for working hard like most of your associates I see on my Friday morning Target/Starbucks runs. I appreciate you.“
