Spanish below:I had never been to eat at this restaurant. But as soon as I saw the name, it took me back to my days in Mexico where once a week I would go to Taco Taxi for dinner. I don't know if this restaurant here is connected to the one in Mexico. I ordered a quesabirria, which was good, but what surprised me was the consommé, which was delicious. This little place hits the spot! It's small, rather quite, but if you want REAL street Tacos the Taco Taxi has always been where it's at! So it really don't matter if you just pull over and run up to one ? f their taco trucks lol cated in uptown on lagoon, or on east lake st. Or if you find yourself here and you've got a moment to sit down and smash on you plate of food, it's ALL GOOD because you ain't in an Uber but the Taco Taxi's food is sure to Lyft your spirits and hopefully...read full review

Best tacos in town hands down! It's all about the dipping salsas, they are very flavorful and a must try. So much so that the consommé was unnecessary at all for birria tacos. The place is busy but service is quick. Plenty of places for dining in.
