“Small working people's cafe with maybe 10 booths and counter seating. Great coffee and home cooked food! Served by a lady named Joy, who lives up to her name! My cup never went empty. I had their Chicken fried steak breakfast (coffee is included). Fantastic!”

“A friend and I stopped in to check it out and had a wonderful experience. The beer was good and the other patrons and employee were extremely friendly. “I was really taken aback by the automatic gratuity. There was a sign that said for parties of 8 or more, there was an automatic gratuity added. We only had 5... and they added it. We even bussed our own tables because we were bowling.I was going to leave them a 30 dollar tip. The gratuity added was only 17. So I didn't leave my tip and just went with the automatic one that we paid even though we only had 5 people.”

“Honestly, the food from this McDonald's tastes significantly better than any other McDonald's I've ever been to. Which is crazy because it's in the middle of freaking NOWHERE and shares a building with a Verizon store lol. But the fries were seasoned and cooked better and my Quarter Pounder with Cheese was fresher and more flavorful than I've ever had from McDonald's. Hats off to the folks who work at this location. “McBees is a nice little bar and grill on the lake. Standard American bar fare, although I will say that you should try the hand cut fries. They're quite tasty.What makes McBees a must-stop destination is the cheesecake. It's homemade and sold by the quite generous slice. There are several varieties stocked so you might feel like you found small-town Minnesota's answer to The Cheesecake Factory. And you might just be right.”
