“Love restaurant week! The beef bourguinon with mashed potatoes and demi-glace was delicious and so tender it melted in my mouth. Our server Alex was a delight. Located on the other side of town from me but well worth the extra time to get there. I'll definitely go back to try some other dishes.”
“I'm surprised how this ice cream shop stays open, but it's been around for awhile and has several ice cream flavors and options The staff who works there are always wonderful. I hope it continues to stay here in our neighborhood!”
“Great bakery and breakfast place. Lots of variety. Quality food and bakery items. Good coffee. Ample seating. Good parking. I love going here for breakfast to start my weekend day.”
“This is a great Jersey Mikes tucked away in a strip mall.Plenty of parking.Very clean store, plenty of lighting.Friendly and knowledgeable staff.Gluten-free options along with different sandwich sizes.Parking: Plenty of free parking in the parking lot.”
“I go here once a month for a lunch meeting in their little back room. It's perfect! They have a garage door that drops so we can have more quiet and privacy. There's a little bathroom right there. Service is attentive and respectful of our meeting!”
“Absolutely amazing! Was my first time there today and it certainly won't be the last! The people are amazing, food is phenomenal! Only a few minutes away from my home. I think I am going to become a regular! Most definitely recommend! I got the combo 1. Next time will get a lot of skewers!”
“This adorable cafe blends in so well with the neighborhood I almost missed it. So glad I didn’t, though! The space is clean and tidy and there are a few tables to sit and enjoy a beverage. When it got busier, staff brought out additional seating to accommodate. I enjoyed my chai tea latte and the message on the milk foam added a fun little twist. Street parking only, but it wasn’t too hard to find a spot. Would visit again and definitely worth the trip!”
“This is one of my favorite brunch spots in the Twin Cities! All of the dishes on their menu are so delicious and well-balanced. I especially love their teasers -- each small bite is packed with flavor and is a delight to the taste buds. I definitely recommend trying the full flight of teasers as an appetizer, it's such a tasty and fun experience. Their cocktails are great too, and in particular I love their Bloody Mary: they garnish it with pickles and a cheese stick, which I think is awesome! Not only is their food delicious, but the atmosphere is excellent as well. Great decor and overall vibe, I really like the assortment of art on the walls, and the cool mirrors behind the bar. Plus their staff is great too---friendly, attentive, and able to help with recommendations if you're having a hard time choosing. I highly recommend checking out Tongue in Cheek for brunch, it is a must whenever I'm in the area! I hope to try them for dinner soon as well, I'm sure they'll be great at any meal. (-:”
“It was pretty expensive, and a service fee is added onto the order, BUT delicious pizza they have! The staff is kind and helpful. I went in the evening, and it was kind of busy, but it wasn't hard to grab a table.”
“Wow! This is just an easy 10 out of 10 straight across-the-board! One of my new favorites, if not my new favorite! We sat at the bar, such a great atmosphere especially being able to watch the kitchen a little bit. Thomas, who I believe was the manager was fantastic and you can tell it is a really well ran establishment. And everyone that works there actually looked happy! Our bartender/server was amazing and the food was just spectacular! Sooooo good. Thank you thank you!”
“We thought the food here was very good! I had the oxtail, and they were the best I have had in Minneapolis. The jersey chicken was also delicious. I highly recommend this place.”
“This is my go to special occasion restaurant! We've celebrated multiple anniversaries and birthdays there, and the staff always treat us well. My favorites are the filet mignon, the street corn, and the 50 shades of chocolate cake! I was eating the Beef Wellington at Gordan Ramsey's Hells Kitchen in Las Vegas and all I could think of was "I wish this was a Baldamar steak". Their Sunday brunch is also a must try. It's on the spendy side, but for a special occasion it's among the best breakfast buffets out there.”
“You get so much bang for your buck at Bolé. The servers are incredibly kind and enthusiastic about guests experiencing Ethiopian food. Doesn’t boast the biggest vegetarian section, but what is available is absolutely delicious. Everything is clearly labeled so there’s no questions about what’s what! You will eat with your hands. Keep that in mind!Vegetarian options: Doesn’t boast the biggest vegetarian section, but what is available is absolutely delicious. Everything is clearly labeled so there’s no questions about what’s what!”
“Wow! What a great find!! We were in the area to get a vehicle serviced but needed food. The menu looked good so we decided to give it a shot. We tried the gyro, the Nashville chicken sandwich and the Sriracha tots. Everything was amazing!! Good sized servings and the flavors did not disappoint. We wish there was a location closer to us. Sooo good!”
“Amazing traditional gelato with a variety of flavors. The owner is extremely friendly and happily provides samples. There are also gelato filled cannolis, cookie sandwiches, and pints/quarts to-go for sale. Highly recommend!”
“While visiting the twin cities, we wanted to get something sweet for the afternoon. Upon looking at reviews, we decided to stop by Conny's. The variety of flavors they had for soft serve was surprising. We got the coffee and the vanilla cone with the coconut dip. I would recommend the flavored cones over the dip personally, but they are both very good. About average on price but this place had a steady flow of customers on one of the first nicer days of the year.”
“We had the Chicken Momos & Chicken Tikka Masala here. Great food, service & ambience, the owner is always smiling & checking in on the customers. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Nepalese food!”
“Still thinking about the “Trust Me” and L.A.V. drink. Great service, fun atmosphere, and really freakin’ delicious food. If this were in my neighborhood I’d be a local barfly.”
“One of the best restaurants in the state, especially their thin crust pizza! They have impeccable ingredients, consistent quality, and a fair price!I miss dining in, the ambiance is cheery and comforting. Maybe they'll open dining in again?Cheers!”
“Long term fan of Colossal Cafe. Great place for breakfast or lunch whether dining in or picking up. Casual atmosphere with friendly employees. My favorites are the flappers, BLT, and colossal cinnamon roll.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu and casual atmosphere.”
“Best food in the town. Foods are made with love and care. Is a culinary treasure with authentic cultural taste. Delightful taste and kindest staff will definitely satisfy you fully. I highly praise and recommend to people who want to experience the real taste of Bangali-Indian food culture.”
“Very clean and nicely put together place! Immediately and the whole time we were there the man taking orders was friendly, silly and super helpful. Ended up finding out he was the owner. He was nothing less than amazing and a complete sweetheart. Now the food, price point is very fair, flavor is top notch! We tried 4 appetizers and would get them all again. Hush puppies, edamame(omg the flavor on these!) Calamari and the spring rolls. Then the main course, we got the $150 large family meal and combo A to include more shrimp and crab clusters. We mixed all 3 sauces and we were fully satisfied with out tasetbuds! Best crab broil hands down I've been to in the twin cities. We will be back! This place is a hidden gem and the owners energy matches their food, they take pride in what they serve and treated every customer the same. This place deserves all the recognition for a great dining experience and flavor.”
“Excellent food. We had over $100 delivery and everything showed up perfectly. It's hard to recommend a single menu item, as everything we've had has been excellent.”
“Love Chianti Grill! Dined there with my BFF for my birthday celebration. Dinner was amazing as usual. Started with Calamari. It was perfectly prepared. Followed with Tortellini "Straw and Hay" with the Walnut Gorgonzola side salad. My girlfriend had the lasagna and side Caesar Salad which she loved. I recommend this restaurant highly, Been dining there for years since their first location on Larpenteur. I have never been disappointed!”
“Me and my family went out to this amazing place for dinner my kids are in love, great atmosphere very friendly employees and all around a great experience, I can’t leave a review without mentioning my favorite part which is definitely the pistachio gelato it’s amazing and I definitely recommend BOGA!”
“I've been to Malcolm Yards a few times and always have been pleased with my food. There is plenty of parking that is free and paid street parking. The inside and outside areas offer plenty of seating. Inside there are several food vendors to choose from and you can order from multiple. This time I got the chipotle sweet potato and roasted nabo sueco tacos from Martes. They were between $5-6 each, so not bad of a price. These tacos were so delicious, I didn't want them to end! I was so glad I went and tried these, but you can't go wrong with the other vendors either. The empanadas at Del Sur are amazing! Overall very cool spot to hang out, but can get expensive quickly if you don't pay attention.”
“I have to admit I love setting up "quests" for myself. Best apple pie. Best gin. My newest quest is looking for the best birria tacos in the Twin Cities. Birria tacos are filled with slow coated meat cooked with spices and served in crispy corn tortillas. They originated in Michoacan in Mexico, and they are delicious! That is how we ended up at Nico's. Last weekend I picked up a batch take-out. Last night we ate at the restaurant. We arrived early and sat at the bar so we could talk about tequila and mezcal with the bartenders. They are incredibly knowledgeable, and I ask a lot of questions. I opted for the flight of repasado tequila. The shots were served in this amazingly cool wooden box decorated with a skull design. They were all good, and generally I don't like tequila! It turns out that the various types of tequila ( white, repasado, anejo) are incredibly different. My husband was ordering a cocktail, and the bartender recommended a different one, with Mexican whiskey and a corn liqueur, and my husband really liked it.Our friends arrived, and we sat at our table. We got their house made chips with a flight of salsas...I loved the roasted corn one but all were good. Of course I ordered the birria tacos - you get three complete with consume and radishes, onions, etc. These really are delicious. They are made with lamb, and it was tender and juicy. My husband and our friends got a mix of tacos. I liked the pescado and pescado asado tacos, but they needed a bit more salt and a bit more topping. The mushroom one was interesting, but rather bland. The single tacos range from $4-5, so it is very affordable. I also had their horchata, which was a very nice version of this classic rice and cinnamon drink. It was not overly sweet, which was very nice! All in all it was a lovely meal. I will absolutely go back for those birria tacos. The service could not have been better. They were attentive, kept the water glasses filled, and in every way made us feel taken care of. I recommend this place a lot.”
“This has become my favorite coffee shop. Run by a wonderful family. Excellent coffee and other beverages. The spicy Mexican hot chocolate is terrific. I also enjoy the latte and the cappuccino. Baked goods are divine - I especially love the oat bread and the banana bread. Although I have not sampled yet there are also breakfast and lunch items that I can see are popular. Compact seating area that is comfortable and the noise level moderate.”
“Awesome sandwich, amazing value. I got the classic turkey, my picture doesn't do it justice, there was more meat than lettuce. Sandwich includes chips... I don't want to say it but I feel like he should raise his prices. Will definitely be back.”
“It's hard to find good "sushi" in the Midwest. I had a Philadelphia roll, and a spicy salmon roll. Both of them were great! Definitely recommend this place, very clean, and the service is very attentive.”
