“Lots of fun singing. Friendly bartenders. Karaoke staff is awesome . Sara owner of KeyBoard is very nice and she can sing . Had a great time 3 weeks ago. Patrons were having a good time. Everyone cheered at people singing. Awesome night. My friend Tracy and I met Bree.she came with her boss. Sly thank you for sticking up for me. Know you since 96. Always happy . Even the lady who did karaoke. Awesome singer.”
“An awesome little coffee shop and cafe! The Purple Car Coffeehouse & Cafe has a bright, cheery, family friendly atmosphere with something for everybody. They have a wide variety of very good reasonably priced coffees.Their hot delicious soups and sandwiches are the perfect thing on a cold Duluth day! They also have some of the best ice cream around. It is easy to get to and they have a nice big parking lot. Definitely worth a visit!”
“Can't say enough good things about this Subway! We showed up with a buss full of kids (34 people total) and the staff was very friendly and efficient. We were in and out in about 40 minutes. We appreciate their attention to detail and hospitality!”
“Jake Birdseye Band has been the best date in the last 2 months. Service is good. Food is good. Good crowd. Good luck finding a decent seat at the bar on the weekend.”
“Just wish that McDonald's was a kid friendly place again. Families are struggling but Good old McDonald's back in the day you could feed a family of 2 adults and 2 children. What it cost today for a large meal and chicken sandwich and fries and pop for 19.00. just my opinion.Hope this summer the ice cream cone machine works good in Proctor , Minnesota.Dietary restrictions: Salt. I can have Fry's without salt.Kid-friendliness: No other then Happy meals and choice of drinks and dessert. No kid friendly place for them to eat and play.”
“This experience was just average. I think we are used to the one on London Road in Duluth and this one is in Proctor. The restaurant in Duluth has a more romantic and special kind of atmosphere while Proctor has just a casual atmosphere. That might be the way it's supposed to be but I really enjoyed the one in Duluth. The service was great in Proctor but the sirloin steak was plain. Meatloaf was fantastic. If you like casual dining at that price then Proctor is your kind of place.”
“This place is so good that I’ve been there twice in 3 days. ? The wings were fresh and the best I’ve ever had (which says a lot)! The pastrami Reuben and habanero Mac and cheese were delicious. Being a previous restaurant manager, I really appreciated the friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service from Tara and Kylie. Let’s talk about the fresh grouper and cheese grits… wow. So good. The grouper is flown in fresh every week. It tastes like the grouper you get in Florida. This place deserves 10 stars! ⭐️ Thank you Mana T and congratulations on creating one of the coolest places that I’ve been in a long time!”
“I’ve only been to the tap room once which was a great experience overall with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I’m part of the Cider Club and cannot stress enough how fantastic the customer service is! I had an issue with one singular can in a 4-pack. The staff was quick to respond to emails and sent out a full 4-pack of replacements as well! The cider club is such a fun concept as well. I look forward to visiting the Duluth location again soon! It also helps that this is hands down my favorite brand of ciders I’ve tried!”
“My daughter and I ate here on 06/21. I love the lake views and the bread appetizer they bring out. we shared a bottle of Prosecco for half price Wednesday. I ordered the gnocci with Gorgonzola Cheese Sauce and Zuppa. flavorful and delicious. the server was extremely friendly and efficient. I'll go back!”
“(From a couple of weeks ago) The food was absolutely phenomenal. So delicious! The owners are so hardworking and you can tell they pour their heart and soul into their kitchen every single day. I ordered a pho to-go and it was given to me with the noodles and broth separately. I told the lady that I wasn't from the area and was going to eat it at the basketball game I was on my way to. The problem was that the noodles and veggies were in a regular styrofoam container and I didn't want to wait until I got to the game to mix them together (fearing that the broth would get too cold). The lady quickly gave me a black reusable tupperware container, mixed the broth and noodles together for me, AND added MORE broth to the broth container. It was so unexpected and I still think about this experience today. They served me and my family with so much kindness. They deserve all the business they can get. That's why I'm still here writing this review weeks after my experience.”
“Stopped in yesterday for lunch! Great service at the counter when we ordered. Food took about 15 minutes. Brother got the special sandwich of the day and devoured it. Such a good size for lunch! I got the pesto bruschetta - it was huge! The pesto was delicious, the tomatoes were fresh and the cheese was the perfect amount. 10/10 recommend. My mom got the summer salad with blue berries, strawberries, nuts and cheese. BIG salad but so yummy and fresh. We got to sit outside, enjoy the sunshine and the 60 degree day in March!! Definitely worth the stop in for lunch.”
“Literally just got a slice of the gluten free chocolate cake. BEST I've had in the 6 years I've been gluten free. I really had to convince myself to not go back for all of whatever of the cake you had in store. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!”
“Tom's okay so I really like the Ruben and my girlfriend too with the little Bristle sprouts made my mouth ? ? water juss na thinking about itKid-friendliness: It's a very kids friendly environment”
“Coffee and chocolates croissants! We walked in Sunday morning and the service was excellent and the selection was amazing! If you are downtown Duluth make sure you stop here.”
“I LOVE their ice cream. So many unique flavors that are ever changing. Great hand made ice cream with vegan options. I also love how they have location specific unique flavors. And they are dog friendly.”
“We took a tour with Joe (who is rarely seen in long pants) and thoroughly enjoyed his tale of the creation of Bent Paddle Brewery. 50% woman-owned and drawing from the cold water of Lake Superior, this brewery is a gem in Duluth .”
“I LOVE their ice cream. So many unique flavors that are ever changing. Great hand made ice cream with vegan options. I also love how they have location specific unique flavors. And they are dog friendly.”
“Absolutely divine! The prime rib was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, while the Italian penne diablo was a spicy, savory delight. Exceptional dining experience from start to finish; the lake view and quick/attentive service made it even better.”
“OMC!! OMG!! They really can Smoke!!What a find! It pays to read reviews, as this restaurant is off the chart. I travel a lot, and it is about flavor, ambiance, customer service, and food variety. This restaurant has it all. The menu is BBQ based with some unique twist. I showed up for the White Alabama BBQ sauce I have been wanting to try. It was fantastic. I could put that sauce on everything. But their other sauces were very flavorful. My server (Sarah F) was great. She was very informative and gave history on each of the foods I asked about. And as a Arnold Palmer connoisseur, OMC had a great spin on their Arnie Palmer. They a spearmint Infused Hibiscus version, which represented a Winnie Palmer, and a fresh organic black tea version for Mr. Palmer. Absolutely delicious. and bottomless. The Jalapena Brisket Popper were outstanding. very unique and a great twice. Their 2 flame warning is really not hot at all. The BBQ meat platter with 2 sides was fantastic. The bark on the Ribs, was nice, but I really liked the thin layer of fat on the brisket. It made it moist and full of flavor with the White Bama Sauce. Yeah Baby!! Jalapena Grits and sweet Potato bake as the bomb. I even had their chocolate whoopi cake for dessert. One suggestion OMC, put a few more south desserts on the menu to round it out. Overall great meal, Great service by Sarah F, the ambience was comfortable and relaxed. Couple of notes, the restaurant charges a 5% kitchen staff charge, which is worth every penny. As well as a 3.5% charge for non-cash transaction which is the cost restaurants now have to incur. All worth it. OMC, thank you for letting me spend my one and only evening meal with in Duluth. A great memory at the end of my business trip. Photos below”
“Always bursting with flavor and creativity. Healthy food .... especially for those who need a gluten free diet. Ambiance is warm and cozy. Lightning fast service.”
“First time there Dec 26th, 2023. By far my favorite cheese curds. My meal was open face turkey sandwich, it was delicious. My husband ordered the veggies omlette with sausage and that was very good! Friendly service. I would recommend this place!”
“I love it here. between the pineapple sour and the raspberry maple cider. phenomenal. log home wood fired pizza was sitting out front. and had a margarita there between the two what a great evening”
“This is my favorite Texas Roadhouse to visit. The staff are amazing. The managers are friendly and they are so helpful with my allergies. I’ve never gotten sick there, which is saying something because I get sick almost every place I eat out. They are so helpful with answering my questions. If they don’t know the answer right away, they help me figure it out. I can’t recommend them enough. The service was quick and the food was perfect.”
“Do not miss out if they offer a distillery tour. It is one of the most comprehensive and informative manufacturing tours I’ve ever been on. The sampling of products at the end was very enlightening and tasty.”
“some really wonderful barrel aged beers and the owners were fantastic to visit with. love their mission to support veterans and first responders. thank you for your service boys and thank you for a great educational annd tasty visit.”
“Well, I could easily say it's probably one of the most progressive establishment in the city. The host was very nice and friendly, he was able to explain the nuances of the different beverages they offered. If you would like to try something new and different this is the place to go. All of the taps open with a wristband that you receive at the door. After you get your wristband, you are free to pour your own of whatever you wish. you are charged by the ounce for the beverage you choose or if you choose a flight you get to sample all of them and decide which is the best for you. Get yourself a flight and try new things. they're also very progressive in the sense that they are working with local breweries in a symbiotic relationship that betters the community and the business. I can assure you that if you go there, you will have a good time. Make time for the Duluth Tap Exchange.”
“I took my 14-year-old grandson here and he loved this place. I thought the sushi was excellent, the service was fantastic and there were a lot of options on the menu. I will definitely be coming back here.Dietary restrictions: It looked like they had plenty of vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: There’s enough food on the menu that any kid could eat it, as long as they like Asian food.”
“A great little old fashioned restaurant. The ambience will bring you back to the olden days. Even if you're 25! I've been here quite a few times and I'll get this out of the way first. It's cash only. No cards, no checks, no Venmo, etc. There is an ATM available for the unprepared. I've been here mostly for breakfast and what a fine breakfast they have! Menu isn't very deep for choices but enough to keep even the most picky satisfied. Nothing I've ordered has ever been sub par. Always to my satisfaction and delicious from first bite to last! You'll enjoy this family style restaurant! I highly recommend it!”
“Hands down my favorite restaurant in Duluth. I eat here ALL of the time. The vermicelli bowls are amazing and don't miss out on the lime marinated beef salad, if you're looking for an appetizer. Parking can be tricky, but always worth it.”
“Cudos to Proctor Pizza and Subs for great food and even better service! You obviously enjoy your customers, stopped there on a Friday night and watched you interact with people.”
