Sandy's is one of our favorite places to grab a burger, fried goodies, and beer with friends. We love that everything about it is laid back and a quintessential neighborhood bar. Do not expect fancy or "gastropub", that is not what Sandy's is.Parking: There is a lot on the side, and street parking.Kid-friendliness: Casual, kid friendly space. There is a video game and claw machine.
What a great blast from the past. Hometown feel in the middle of the metro! A party of 4 with appetizers and sides was still under $60. Be sure to have the burger of the month and some loaded potato kegs. Went at 10:30 in the evening on a Wednesday, it was my first time there. The Big Mac Daddy was awesome, jucy, messy, and just all flavor. Fried pickles were great, and the wings were good, and the beer was cold. Our server was great, very funny. Our table was laughing quite a bit with her. It was a really good experience and exactly what I needed.
