“Very reasonable on the pricing but not impressed with the pizza. Didn't see anyone eating a pie that was cooked like the photos. Probably a fine line between perfect and burnt but might have just been an off night with the staff running the oven. Closer to a 3 star for me but the value, along with friendly cashier and runners kept the 4th.“
“I don't often take the time to write a review of a restaurant, but I would have felt guilty if I didn't in this case. Seriously great pizza, with the perfect crust, sauce and toppings - piping hot and served with a smile. The cleanliness of this pizza joint was awesome, the staff friendly and, even though it was super busy, the attention to the customer and product was spot on.Thank you for a great experience and a "perfect pie".“
“So today March 16th 2024 I took my family here to eat for my daughter’s 17th birthday. Our waitress Scarlett I think that’s how you spell her name. Well anyways She was by far the best waitress I’ve ever had. Super kind and extremely good at her job. If anyone in management sees this review keep her because she’s amazing. I left her a tip and she started crying because I guess it was a big tip and just very humble. If I could give her 10 stars that wouldn’t be enough. So Scarlett thank you very much for the AMAZING SERVICE YOU PROVIDED MY FAMILY. ???“
“Townsend Barber Institute Pizza Party, celebrating our Veterans, my students and I, really enjoyed the food and everything arrived hot and right on time, we were able to be together and have a great time, the driver was pleasantly surprised when we all chipped in to make their day as well. $$ Can’t wait to enjoy this pizza and wings again, enjoy the pics & videos below.Parking: Delivery this time, but we have also had meals inside and there is plenty of parking.“
“My family and I went out for dinner recently, and on the whole, it was a good experience. Our server was attentive and made us feel well taken care of. We started with the onion and goat cheese and the beet pesto bruschetta, and both were fantastic. They really set high expectations for what was to come. However, when we moved on to the main courses, they didn't quite meet our expectations. The fettuccine alfredo was disappointingly bland. The cauliflower orange gnocchi, while innovative, was a bit heavy on the orange zest and was also dry. The mushroom agnolotti was good, though a tad salty for my taste.“
“Went here with my parents, wife and two children. The service was excellent, the hostess was able to get us a table even though it was quite full and we had no reservations. The food was great, delicious meat balls, manicotti, and seafood dish. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the ice cream which everyone loved. The portions were large and we had enough left over for 4 of us to have lunch the next day. It's no wonder why this place was so busy. The prices were very fair and reasonable.“
“Excellent service by the staff at Italian Eatery. They were extremely accommodating and made our dinner a remembrance, enjoyable experience. Highly recommend everything in the menu. Nice that they have the overflow space at un dito. We will be back!“
“Dining at Hyacinth was a true pleasure from start to finish. Bradon took amazing care of us, and we felt so pampered throughout the entire experience. This was our first time at Hyacinth, and we decided to stop in for a belated Valentine’s celebration. After reading the reviews and perusing the menu, our expectations were quite high, but I have to say that they were exceeded by the experience. First of all, the vibes were immaculate— cozy, elegant, and humming with energy on a Saturday night. I loved that it wasn’t stuffy or pretentious but still felt like fine dining. We decided to go all out and ordered a ton of dishes from the menu— NA sparkling wine, marinated white beans, scallops, squash crostini, roasted radishes, cacio e pepe, linguine a la puttanesca, and panna cotta. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted and full of punchy flavors. I loved the marinated beans with preserved lemon and a mix of herbs. I also loved how peppery the cacio e pepe was. The blend of textures in the squash crostini was excellent too. Many of the dishes had ingredients that aren’t usually my favorite, but they all shone in this context. I was skeptical of the scallop dish, because the texture of raw scallops is usually a turn off, but these scallops were fresh, buttery, and savory. The panna cotta was another star dish. It tasted like elevated rice pudding in the best way!My only small critique is that the cacio e pepe wasn’t as creamy as I had hoped. The pasta was perfectly cooked and so peppery, but I was hoping for a thicker sauce. The flavors were on point though. We loved our experience, and we left with full stomachs and a smile on our faces. Can’t wait to go back and try more fantastic creations.Vegetarian options: Solid vegetarian options. Two vegetarian entree options and a number of vegetarian appetizers. Especially good for pescatarians.“
“Our waiter was super nice. The food was so good!!!!! I especially love the spaghetti and the salt cod fritters. Their honeycomb cake is also delicious. Would recommendVegetarian options: There are 3 or 4 vegetarian options but the menu is not very big and they are deliciousDietary restrictions: I am vegan and they can take of cheese or meat on a lot of things to make it vegetarian or vegan.Parking: No parking it is on a busy streetKid-friendliness: They are kid friendly but I think older more mature kids are a better fit for this restaurant“
“Placed a pick order, and everything was ready at the time given. Easy in and out, decided to try it out on a recommendation, and glad we did. The food was great. We ordered a pizza and some ravioli. You could tell the pizza was made with quality ingredients just by the first bite. Didn't skimp on the toppings or cheese either! Ravioli was great and also came with some fresh baked bread, which added a nice touch to the dish. We definitely would recommend it to anyone who asks about a great pizza shop in the area. Prices were also great for the quality and amount of food that you receive. The service is great they treat you like family and not just like another customer!“
“more of a classy ambiance - great for business meetings, team dinners, dinner with parents (which is what we did!) it's a solid spot, just misses with the "IT" factor. servers are very kind and had great recs we enjoyed. fav dishes: crab cakes, linguine, Rossa pasta & tres leches gelato skip on: risotto, tiramisu (very rummy, unless ur into that) , caramel custard (too sweet)“
“Cozy and comfortable. It's not loud so you can have a conversation (even with a table of drunk mid aged men, the atmosphere was still enjoyable for a date night). The food came out fast and fresh. Lighting is nice and service is attentive without being overly intrusive. The free bread basket is so fresh and delicious rosemary flavor. Puttanesca was just right, not too salty and the lobster sauce on the ravioli- chef's kiss. I preferred the bread basket over the bruschetta but no complaints overall!Parking: Street parking on a Monday was easy.“
“Me and my significant other arrived and we were seated in a timely manner (the bar) and had the pleasure to enjoy some extraordinary drinks and food. We had tried some of everything on the cocktail menu and were absolutely impressed with the quality and the taste of all of it. Highly recommend stopping by for some drinks. We also enjoyed the cauliflower and the chopped cheese, both of which were delicious and warranted their own visit should the craving arise. Overall an excellent experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff who cared and were attentive.“
“pasta & Itialian food heaven in a friendly busy atmosphere affordable wine list with some favorites - a wonderful find I hope to eat there often - farm to table items as the wonderful and on site couple own a farm west of town - pure joy to meet “
“Awesome salads. My fave is gorgonzola salad and Tuscano Pizza is sausage and red peppers. Great combo. Most times a half salad and pizza is enough for 2. They got booze and all.Vegetarian options: The gorgonzola salad!Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of access even tho parking can be tuff in northeast area. But they have a lot on the side.“
“The food is very much cafeteria style. It is not bad by any means but is definitely not Italian. The Ambiente was impacted for me because everything was served on a plastic tray and it was eaten with plastic silverware. It is good for a quick lunch but I would not go there for dinner. In my opinion the food is overpriced for what you get.Vegetarian options: Very much present and easy to findParking: Crowded“
“Cool place with a nice vibe. There's not many tables inside, although there's a long bar with seating and also an outside patio in warmer weather. Great street sandwiches, in particular the Prosciutto, absolutely fantastic. A little pricey for sandwiches, but very high quality and worth it as a treat.“
“Andrea Pizza has been a fixture in the Skyway for many years. At lunchtime, they crank out pizza by the slice for the hungry office workers in downtown Minneapolis - and it's really, really good. No frills - pick your slices, they put them in the oven to warm, put them on a paper plate and hand you a cup. Quick and easy. A handful of tables to sit at, or take it back to the office. My fave - the veggie artichoke and tomato slice.“
“This was our 1st visit to celebrate a wedding anniversary. My wife & were blown away by the menu selections, food was delicious & wait staff very attentive. This restaurant certainly deserves to be recognized. We plan to return!Wheelchair accessibility: If mobility is an issue, be sure to request a main floor seating. There are several steps to front entrance.“
“Yarruso's holds a special place in our family's heart, spanning generations with its authentic Italian food. Whether dining in or picking up sauce and meatballs, you can't go wrong. My father in particular, loved Yarruso's, and had been eating there since the 60s. So, when he passed away in November, it was only fitting to have Yarruso's cater his memorial service. Jerry and his team cooked up a huge feast to help us properly say goodbye to a great man. I know he would have loved it! Thank you for always being there for us!“
“Dietary restrictions: At this time, they have gluten-free pasta.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is wide enough for a full-sized electric wheelchair, but there is not a button that opens the door for you. You will need someone to hold the door open. The walkways between tables are tight, but a full-sized electric wheelchair can navigate, and they will remove chairs so you can sit comfortably at a table.“
“I'm not kidding you guys take $4.99 is almost is pretty looking as how's the girl that works there that does not give out free food because she wanted to be a tough guy but that's okay I understand that rules are rules but maybe Valentine's Day will be so busy busy you busy I bet you can catch me“
“Our server Haddie was amazing and we never saw the bottom of a glass. Haddie also educated us on great menu items and gave us direction on what to order off the menu. The food and cocktails were absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend the pizza rolls and Garlic Cheese Curds to get your palette going. All entrees were beautiful and bold flavors. I personally had the Cavatelli and it is now my most favorite metro pasta. The Butternut Squash was a 10/10 and The Cheese Steak had a healthy portion for perfection. We will be back again and again. It was also a nice touch to have management stop by to check on our experience. Great management !- Beau GeerOwner - Xtreme Pest Solutions“
“Our waitress very clearly did not want to be there and another kept running over to make up for her poor/complete lack of service. I felt bad for her. I wish I could have given the tip to the other one who visited our table way more, brought our food and to go boxes, and looked generally uncomfortable to be working alongside our waitress. Hopefully whatever was on our waitresses mind and distracting her was resolved positively.“
“Pizza T is an amazing company- from yummy pizza to unbelievably awesome community support. They have supported our youth wrestling tournaments for years. And every year has been awesome! Thanknyou Tony and staff for being such a great company in our community.“
“This place has some of my favorite pizza, even if the ownership changed! Make sure to try it out especially if you like variety. They used to ship the water in from Jersey which made it delicious, can't tell if they still are but still tastes great.“
“Excellent date night experience.Small, intimate and quaint. Delicious, unique, with fantastic service.Ordered the bruschetta as the appetizer; pappardelle and cannelloni dishes, as well as a cannoli for dessert.Including the wine and complementary Italian bread & oil, every single thing that went down our gullets was dynamite. The cannoli was one of the best we've ever had.The only downside, purely of my personal preference, is their menu is on the smaller side and consists of rather unique meal options - as compared to maybe a more Americanized Italian establishment. I'd come back to try only a couple different items on the menu. That said, we will definitely be back and it will be a place we bring friends and family from out of town. Worth every penny spent.Parking: If arriving for an early dinner, there should be plenty of street parking available. During peak rush, you might have to park a block or two away.“
“Overall it was fantastic, simple but thought out dishes that were tasty. Only thing to complain about was the spaghetti sauce was pretty bland and watery but otherwise it was really good, pizza was delicious and the sticky toffee cake was superb!! So delicious! That said I think the best thing about the visit was their service, they were fully staffed and all the staff we're welcoming and very attentive which was so much appreciated when unfortunately you don't find that at a lot of places nowadays. Bravo to their team and our waitress ( think it was Jojo? Sorry i can't remember) but they made it a great experience and you can tell they pay attention and make sure you never run out of your drinks and you have a great experience! Thank you and look forward to coming back!“
“I brought my boss who was visiting Minneapolis for the first time to this place. The pizzas were absolutely delicious. Though for some reason we only ordered four items and ended up spending $150. I’m not saying this is a bad thing, because he paid for the meal. So I guess what I’m trying to say is thank you for making corporate spend money on me. The staff were great and again, the food was incredibly delicious.“
“Outstanding in so many ways. The atmosphere transports u to another place. Seating options are all great including at the fancy bar, in the bar at a high top, fancy dining room and my fav: patio on a warm day. Food amazing, drinks amazing, staff amazing. Easy parking. Italian food store attached. Great for special occasions, happy hour, any time really.“
“They've made some good upgrades, but it's hard to recommend eating inside. Very crowded, especially the entry area. There's no where to wait for your table and stay out of the way of carry-out traffic. Very good food and nice servers.“
“We have tried the Grand Ave, Northeast MPLS, Roseville, and Eden prairie locations, and all are fantastic. They are consistent, fairly priced, and delicious. I chose to review the Grand Ave location because of the area - we stopped by Grand Ole Creamery afterwards, and had a great time there as well. Plenty of other places to visit on that streetEach location features plentiful parking, even the high-traffic locations of NE and Grand Ave. They are efficient with the ordering/cooking, and we choose to go here over Black Sheep & Pizza Luce every single timeI enjoy both styles they offer, but usually build my own. The focaccia is good too, but we normally just get pizzas. They freshly shave their parmesan cheese and offer bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar to take to your table, which we love“
“Thanks to Scott and crew for helping make a delicious meal for the South Dakota State University Swim & Dive Team this week for our conference championships at the U of MN. From the first phone call to Scott about the possibility and availability of feeding 58 people on our team to the final delivery to our hotel by a polite young man it was top notch! We selected three types of pasta that the athletes & coaches could choose from: Garlic Chicken Alfredo, Spaghetti with Meatballs, and Manicotti. Everyone loved it and the portions were huge! We also ordered dinner salads and breadsticks. We had a handful of athletes with Gluten /Nut allergies and Scott made sure to handle those dietary restrictions with expert care. Scott & crew were kind to individually pack the pasta and salads so it was quick & easy to hand out in the entry way of the hotel to each person. Scott also followed up via email a couple days later to ensure everything was to our liking. I highly recommend Fat Lorenzo’s - they take pride in what they do and were awesome to work with. Thanks Scott!Go Jacks! ?“
“We were walking around NE on a Friday evening in search of food and stopped in to Northeast Social. The restaurant is beautiful! It was about half full at 9pm and we were seated right away. We had the duck and the chocolate torte and both were amazing! Loved the atmosphere and our server was awesome. Glad we stopped in.“
“Our three days were just perfect. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and desperate to fulfill their goal of making everything about staying here ideal. Spotless facilities, quiet rooms, comfortable beds, good food… I’m not sure what more to say in order to make my point. One cannot go wrong staying at a Four Seasons!“
“Truck was at Broken Clock Brewing Cooperative and I had the Cubano on Pita with fries It was absolutely delicious!Classic spicy cubano ingredients on grilled pita. Mwah! Hot, fresh fries, which i ate with the drippings from my sandwich.Fast service, great food! If you see this truck try the food!“
“I've seen dagwoods recommended on quite a few pages so I made my way in when i had a weekday downtown. It is good, but not outstanding. Friendly counter staff. Quick enough. I just expect a lot out of an Italian sandwich and I've had better. But it's worth a stop“
“This was one of our first stops for food during our first visit to Minneapolis. The pizzas are amazing try the Greek vegetarian pizza...it's out of this world... also try the artichoke dip and warm pretzels... margaritas are average...“
“We just moved here and Marino's is so far one of our favorite things about our neighborhood. We have been twice and everything we have tried has been fantastic. They are also very helpful and pleasant folks! It's our new regular spot for take out. The pizza sauce is some of the best I've had.“
“This is a rather small local restaurant. Attire would be business casual to upscale casual. Reservations are suggested. They have very creative menus and tasting options. Service and food quality is always excellent.Parking: There is an adjacent free parking lot but it's quite small. You'll typically be parking on the street and within one block.“
“Pizza was solid and cooked just the way I like it. Toppings were fresh and well proportioned. Sauce tasted great with a little sweetness. Good cheese with just the right amount, not too much or to little. Crust nice and thin with some crunch. Plenty of room to enjoy the pizza at their location. Great little whole in the wall pizza joint. Highly recommend!“
“First time in and this place is very nice. I tried the chicken parm (which I would recommend) the lasagna (which was okay, very cheesy), the crostini (very crunchy), and the chicken salad (which is good). Overall the quality of the food is good but not quite worth the price (similar to a Kowalski’s) in my opinion. Would recommend checking out though.“
“A rarity nowadays post-Covid. We appreciate the attentive staff, appreciate the quality food, appreciate the relaxed, cozy ambiance. No pretension to distract froma good dining experience. We cherish their old school ways. We are happy they are in our neighborhood.“
“We recently celebrated my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary here, and everything was spectacular. We were greeted warmly, the service was exceptional, the food was outstanding, and we never once felt rushed to leave or vacate our table. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a top-quality Italian experience in the Twin Cities.“
“I like the pizza from Lucky's. He's a lucky guy. I also like their pterodactyls and pajama parties. What a great place to be. Only thing I can think of that it needs is more teddy bears plush dolls but other than that, it's a great place to “
“Grace was awesome & super friendly ! We bellied up at the bar, and I’m glad we did! The menu is amazing, everything looks good it was hard to choose. The venue is super pretty and open. Great location, lots of parking and did I mention amazing food?Cocktails were great as well. They also have a discount for other bartenders and servers. They have lots of local liquor! The entire experience start to finish was perfect. We met the GM afterwards and they were super friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!“
“Hands down the best pizza in the Metro area. Crust is perfect, sauce is wonderful. And it's consistently the same delicious pie, time after time. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is great after their remodel. And the prices are beyond reasonable. This is the way pizza used to be, before there was a shop in every strip mall in the world.A+++“
“Local to Minnesota and food is awesome. I would prefer Hoagie (signature sandwich) and deep dish pizza. This particular location is my son’s favorite and he always prefers to order penne pasta with Alfredo sauce prefers to sit at same table near window :)Vegetarian options: Pizza, hoagie, pasta and salad ?Kid-friendliness: Pasta and pizza place.. kids love it“
“My wife and I had made a trip into South St Paul to our accountant's office and were looking for Italian food. I was craving a dago sandwich and Angelo's Italian Restaurant did not disappoint! This family run restaurant had a delicious dago sandwich with homemade sauce and a large piece of Italian sausage, we got it to go and it was more than enough for two of us for lunch. Thanks Josh and family for a great dining experience, we will be back to try some more dishes from your menu!“
“Love Chianti Grill! Dined there with my BFF for my birthday celebration. Dinner was amazing as usual. Started with Calamari. It was perfectly prepared. Followed with Tortellini "Straw and Hay" with the Walnut Gorgonzola side salad. My girlfriend had the lasagna and side Caesar Salad which she loved. I recommend this restaurant highly, Been dining there for years since their first location on Larpenteur. I have never been disappointed!“
