“We love skinner’s! The food is always excellent and we always love supporting locally owned businesses. Lately it has been incredibly difficult to get a table and even pick up orders are taking an hour which makes it difficult with kids (this is placing orders prior to 5pm so even on weekends an hour wait for takeout at that time is excessive and I spent 10 years as a server at popular pizza restaurant in Duluth and understand rush times). Again love supporting local businesses but skinner’s seems to be thriving beyond their space and we will be looking to spread our business around, while still ordering from skinner’s from time to time.“

“We went for dinner with friends and loved the view, atmosphere, and had great service. The drinks for most of us were also excellent. However we all felt that the food and presentation was a three star. So take that into account if you are reading this.I know they are going for the diner/dinette vibe but the shrimp cakes in a cardboard box isn't ideal. The French fries also were good but look like something you would get next door at CHS Field.I had the duck pasta with ricotta cheese and it was a major letdown for me. I should have ordered the burrito. However the menu isn't that large so your options are limited. The pork belly was tasty but had way too much spicy sauce all over it.Will I go back? Honestly it is unlikely. I hope they can improve the food and expand the menu because the location is beautiful and historic. And our server was prompt and took great care of us.“

I was with a team of people (my job met there) last night (4/1/24), we had to flag a waitress down to take our order for food and drinks outside of the many appetizers my boss ordered. That's not usually the case though. Once someone came, she was wonderful. I don't come to this establishment too often anymore due to me no longer working in the area, but whenever it's an option, I am always a fan. However, what really peterbed me was the front desk manager. My client was of the elder, and the bathroom light would not come on. She asked to see, and the lady said, "It's been that way, (rudly), and to figure her way around it." She came out tripped, trying to find her way to the stall. This is a story I would not make up. Moreover, she was my client. I took to dinner over a 100k contract. Get your act together. Or don't charge that kind of price. Seriously.“

She told us it will be coming. Our food arrived and we asked again about the appetizer. She seemed confused. The appetizer never arrived and when she brought the bill she said something about never getting the appetizer. The whole exchange was weird. They should also take salads off the menu. “I love Turf Club. This is a classic music venue with great service. I have been there a few times now and have never had a bad experience. The stage is elevated a bit so even if you're in the back, you can see the performance. This place isn't huge, so you get a very intimate setting. Great options at the bar for drinks and they have food, even though I haven't tried anything yet. Looks good though! I could not believe the service we got the last time we were there. We had a table and our server was so on top of everything. Never had to wait long for a drink refill. He was so nice and funny. Really added to the whole experience! I always keep an eye out for events at Turf Club because I'll take any excuse to visit here!“

“My Dad and I had the pleasure of eating at Highland Grill this evening and will most definitely recommend it to others, as well as return next time we're nearby! Absolutely stellar service from the time we walked in the door and were promptly greeted by the hostess until the time we left. Holly was our server - very knowledgeable & friendly. I mentioned it was our first time & asked for recommendations. I asked for a special drink (not on the menu); and she accommodated my request. We decided to get two items and share them as they both sounded delicious (the Seared Salmon & Meatloaf). Dad is a diabetic so she suggested an alternative vegetable instead of potatoes. Her service was spot on throughout our visit and the food was DELICIOUS!! We were both very pleased with the quality and the quantity. I've been a bartender/server for over 25 years... I can honestly say there isn't one thing that could have gone better with our experience!! 10 out of 10.“

“BBQ brisket had great flavor, was moist and held the sauce well. BBQ Sauce (hot) had good flavor with a nice kick. Was really thick so that was nice not having a super drippy/messy sandwich. Pickles are just standard DILL and the sides tasted good (smoked white cheddar Mac and Cole slaw) If you order a side portion of sticky rice it comes with 2 heaping piles of delicious steamed sticky rice. Hmong pepper sauce is a great addition that levels up the spice even a little more! Great on the sandwich and rice.“

I appreciated that she proactively offered to add a protein to the meal (I chose crispy chicken - excellent!) Docking some star power of the rating because it took too long to get the bill for an airport restaurant. Can't speak much for ambiance. It was so busy I sat at a "bar" type counter, so my view was people coming through security. Though, if I had been waiting for a travelling companion, that would be a good thing.“

“The service itself could have been rated as a 5+. We had a nearly perfect experience based on a recommendation from a friend who had grown up in this neighborhood. Excellent spicy Mexican/New Mexican entrees even on the breakfast menu. Very exhaustive and creative breakfast menu in general. From the time we entered the door to the team staff concept this was pretty much as good as a place could do. Food was delicious served extremely efficiently and the crew helped me find a missing phone with utter diligence as I was wrapping up to leave. I planned on going over for a good experience based on a suggestion; I instead had a great one. Love this place and it’s vibe and will certainly return!“

“I went with friends to see the Jimmy's. It was my first time there. If you want a server, go somewhere else. But if you're looking for an awesome venue with great music, you'll love this place. It packs up quickly, so plan on getting there early and grab a burger.“

“Fun times are always had at the History Center! We decided to go to "free" day and we had a good time. We checked out some cool exhibits and had some fun as well. They do a great job on showing you the history of Minnesota and what makes us great. 2 best exhibits: the tornado one and the world war 2 airplane one. They explain history very well and make you feel like you're actually there. Parking can be tight on busier days but plenty to do around there.“

“We’ve had 2 pregames here and had excellent food and service both times. Their fried pickle chips are awesome, wings great even sauceless (got dipping sauces on side), walleye fries were great, the only thing we were so so on were the nachos. Fake cheese was blah but otherwise all good! Service excellent, drinks cold.“

“If you are on the downtown NSP strip, you should stop in and check this bar out. It definitely has an old school feel and you can tell it has been around since the start. The bartender was very friendly and everyone in this place is a local and seated around the bar. Very affordable drinks and they have great music, pulltabs, dartboards and a lot of seating. They also have a back patio area to hang outside.“

“We had an amazing night at St. Paul Grill. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly (especially for a fine dining restaurant). We felt at home and welcome immediately. Our server Brandi was fabulous! She matched the energy of our group of 8 (including kids) perfectly and we had a lot of fun with her. She had great recommendations and we left very full and happy. We will be back!!“
