I have dined at Handsome Hog a few times in the past and enjoyed great experiences every time. Delicious food and drinks and really good food (both dinner and brunch service). However tonight was unexpectedly disappointing. When we arrived, we were seated at a table for 4 (it was just my husband and I) in a back corner near the bathrooms. Disappointed in the ribs. They were undercooked and because of that, tough. We could hardly chew them. We wrapped them up and brought them home. Next day I wrapped them in tinfoil with a little apple juice and baked them another hour at 275 and those tough ribs were tender! Had a reservation at 11 AM; promptly seated & water brought, drink orders taken promptly; quite a long delay for drinks as I only saw 2 servers & 1 bartender. Finally placed our brunch entree orders; it was nearly an hour before our food was served &, while it looked beautiful, no one had a poached egg (they were hard - not runny at all!) & chicken on the chicken & waffles was not hot!
