Tara's Cafe and Malt Shop is a delightful café in Belton’s Olde Towne. Come for the atmosphere and stay for the milkshakes. The staff is friendly and helpful. The milkshakes are delicious. I give them a 8 out of 10. There was no cherry on top, or in my case, a blackberry on top. While I was there a blind woman was there with her granddaughter. Great little diner with terrific food and friendly people. The corn dogs are fantastic! So, are the onion rings and tater tots. And, it's connected to an antique store, which is one of my weaknesses. I'll be back.

Tara's is a wonderful, friendly place to eat with competent staff and delicious food. Trena is my favorite waitress. Once when I ordered a pie, they made it special for me and it was ready on time and was fresh and delicious.
