“Moving to a Blue Springs soon and stopped for dinner here after apartment shopping. The food was wonderful. I sat at the bar since I was alone, but ended up being served by the owner who treated me like an old friend he was catching up with.I will definitely return!“
“Breadsticks are no longer free unlimited for dine in customers. It now costs $1.25, which isn't much, but made me sad. I was excited to try the new stuffed shells, and they were pretty much what I expected. The flavors were really good, with mediocre ingredients and execution. The pasta of the shells was gummy, but everything tasted good enough that it wasn't a big deal, at least for me. Without unlimited breadsticks, I may go to a better Italian restaurant and get properly cooked pasta for the same price. The cheese pizza used to be the only thing our picky kids would eat, but there was almost no cheese on it, and the crust was doughy, so sadly this is no longer on our kid- friendly list, since the only thing she'll eat now are the breadsticks.“
“I usually give chain restaurants 3-stars for consistent mediocrity from restaurant to restaurant. However, this particular OG served up a better-than-mediocre Eggplant Parmasean dish. Crunchy on the outside. Cooked perfectly within. Unusually enjoyable.I was a bit perturbed when the server asked if we'd like marinara sauce with our breadsticks. Meh. Okay. Why not? I'll tell why not. $5.00 for a thimble of (back to mediocre) marinara sauce. A camouflaged upsell!“
“The Bellas family restaurant in Lee's Summit is a true gem of the city. The food, specials, alcohol, and services are outstanding. We first visited here in 2020 during the pandemic and were one of the first KC customers, as they have locations in another state. We will be their last customers as well. No one has better marinara, lasagna, or bruschetta in the area. The staff remembers their regular guests.A golden goose, I finally reviewed because I didn't want to share this spot with others. Our secret sauce. Enjoy!“
“The Italian Stallion sandwich was delicious, as far as quality deli sandwiches go, there isn't much to choose from in the area and I am thankful for this place. My go-to place in downtown Lees Summit was closed today and this place delivered what I was craving, literally and metaphorically speaking. Wasn't too expensive, and free delivery within 10 miles of the store if you order through the website, is a plus. Sure beats all those doordash fees and charges. My girlfriend got the two slice and a drink deal and the pizza was great! Huge New York style slices. Safe to say I will be ordering again, trying the other sandwich options and the other pizza options. Looks like they do more than just pizzas and sandwiches on their website, super excited to try those items as well. Specialty items for Superbowl Sunday too?? Might be ordering again sooner than I thought. Go Chiefs!“
“We were in the mood for Italian, so I suggested we drive to Buckner for dinner and try Tusconos. We were seated quickly and received our drinks and bread in a timely manner. We ordered, and the server was friendly and helpful. I thought the atmosphere was cozy.We received our food quickly. My chicken parmesan was amazing. The red sauce was fantastic, and the chicken cooked perfectly. The lasagna was good ( very meaty ) the Alfredo was good also, but I was too full to finish it.The bread wasn't amazing, but everything else was terrific. Bread was average, but it was close to closing, so it was possibly cooked earlier and not fresh.I'll definitely be back!“
“Fazoli's is like a fast food version of Olive Garden. It tastes great but still a bit expensive. Unlimited bread sticks while you are there and their cheese cakes are amazing. Easy way to feed the whole family and still have some food left over.“
“I had an awesome lunch at Carraba’s today! I ordered the 10oz sirloin with a side of broccoli and a cup of sausage lentil soup. The food was fantastic! My server was Ed and he was super polite and was quick to grab me everything I need! Which is hard to do because I drink Dr. Pepper like a fish breathes water. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!Vegetarian options: There aren’t a lot of vegan options, but several dishes are considered vegetarian. Almost everything seemed to have cheese of some sort.“
“I ordered this pizza for my co-workers and everyone loved it. When I picked up the pizza the young man at the register was extremely nice as well. I will definitely be ordering again.Parking: Independence 40 hwy next to Blondie's. Very large parking lot with space.“
“Wow! What a find. Only open on Thurs/Fri/Sat but holy cow/yum! I got the special app-lemon ricotta honey goat cheese bruschetta and the scallops with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My husband got the meatballs and red sauce with pasta. Both were absolutely phenomenal. We also had craft cocktails/the limoncello martini was inane. Go!“
“Sal's original pizza is in the Independence Center mall and for a pizza place in a mall this place is great! I've had the pizza, salads and Stromboli everything was great! The pizza is a New York style pizza. Today I tried the Sicilian slice, excellent! Previously I've had their Greek salad, also excellent. The staff are respectful and the store front is clean. I recommend Sal's Pizza, it is located in the food court on the bottom level.“
“Very good salad and pizza combo. Service was helpful and friendly on today's lunchtime visit. I recommend the chicken cob salad. Lunch for two $22.02.08.24 Update, pizza and salad still excellent. Service was great as well. Lunch for two went up to 28.“
“The artichoke dip is to die for it’s one of the best I’ve had. Would definitely recommend getting it! 10/10. For dinner I would recommend their Carbonaro fettuccine it’s Devine. 10/10 as well!I don’t recommend getting the lasagna it wasn’t very good. One thing that turned us off being there was our server wasn’t very good. We all always had a flag him down. He never checked on us and it was just really frustrating and annoying. We had to ask to get our drinks refilled and get new drinks and stuff and he was just very slow and just not efficient. That was the only problem that that we had being there other than that the food was pretty good.“
“I would just like to say my experience at the Olive Garden in Lees Summit was exceptional good. The service was excellent, the food was devine. I can say that it was an all around good experience. I wish I could remember my servers name she was so polite and attentive to me and my parties needs. I just would like to say thanks to all who took part in making our eating experience a very good one. I appreciate you guys going the extra mile. Thanks to all who successfully made our visit a joyful one.“
“Independence location is fantastic! Way better than Blue Springs! Came here after we walked out of Blue Springs for not helping us. Everything at Independence location was fantastic! Best service we have had in a while! Felicia is the best server ever! Thank you!“
“The food was sufficient however the women's restroom was taken for most of the time we were there by an employee, had to use the men's just to wash my hands. All of the Parm shakers were being used or empty but other than those two things it was fine.“
“This is by far my favorite pizza in the world. Honestly, in my opinion it is better NY style pizza in Blue Springs, MO than I've had in NYC. One slice of cheese is the best tasting cheese pizza I've ever had with crust that is consistently on point. My brother, wife, and kids all agree. My other favorite order is two slices of combination. I wish I lived and worked closer but whenever I'm near by, I'll try to stop in. If you like good NY style pizza, you'll love Original Pizza in Blue Springs, MO. Can't recommend this local, no frills, family owned and operated business enough.“
