“Tiny place tucked between Schnucks and Home Depot. Used to work nearby and came here frequently. I miss it! Great prices, huge portions, always smells amazing. Mostly take-out but you can eat-in if you want to; only a few tiny tables inside, but they're usually empty. You can call in an order and leave your name and they'll start it immediately, ready within 10-15 mins usually. Best fried chicken wings I've ever had to be honest - don't let the "4pc" discourage, it's 4 entire full sized wings, not halves. I've never had anything here I did not like, however I'm not St Louis enough (or brave enough) to try the sandwiches.Parking: Between Schnucks and Home Depot. Tons of parking but you might have to walk further than you wanted to. Worth it though.“
“Their Hot and Sour soup had mushrooms and a lot of other unexpected extras. It was very good. I also had their Szechuan beef combo and it too was also very good. I didn't particularly care for the broccoli that was part of the meal but besides that the rest of it was very good, and the meat was very tender.“
“The buffet has many options, and the waitress staff are very courteous and make you feel right at home. I am a vegetarian and my companion loves meat and seafood, but both of us were able to find nice options.Vegetarian options: They do have confirmed non-meat spring rolls that were very delicious. There is also a salad bar with fruit and boiled eggs and the hot bar had some yummy vegetable non-meat dishes as well. I am vegan and was able to find plenty to eat.“
“Really best for dine-in. Food is good. Northern china cuisine. As a non-Chinese, I appreciate that the menu has color photographs of most every item. Favorites are the spicy fish, twice cooked pork, glass noodles w pork, and sweet and sour pork (mostly just sweet). Okay were house noodles, noodles w fermented cabbage, braised knuckles. Least favorite was the dumpling soup -- mainly because I'm not a fan of cilantro. Place is small, but cute and clean. Service is prompt and friendly.“
“We were told to wait 35 minutes but we ended up waiting for an hour. But for Chinese food, we shall wait Meanwhile we bought Smoked oolong bbt, less sweet. It was very legit! We ordered the beef tripe cold dish, it’s chewy and spicy, worth ordering if you can handle spice. The beef hand-pulled noodles were a little disappointing as the noodles were mushy and not chewy as it should be. Eggplant dish was very yummy too, we drenched our rice bowls with the sauce!“
“It’s pretty cool to watch them making the dumplings. The service was good. The lady was super pleasant. You can a complimentary bowl of soup which was flavorful and warming. We ordered the chicken dumplings and the crab & pork dumplings. The crab and pork were the better of the two but both lacked a bit of flavor. You definitely couldn’t tell that crab was in there. The chicken was fried nice and crispy but don’t be fooled by the menu saying “hot wings” because nothing about these are hot. They barely even have any seasoning and they give you a side of sweet ketchup. Do make sure you grab a sparkling water tho because it’s probably some of the best I’ve had.“
“The best restaurant in Saint Louis. The food is so flavorful. I tried the gnocchi and the tofu dish and it was the best tasting dishes of those type I have ever had. You might require a reservation and the space is a bit limited, but the staff is very accommodating.“
“BEST VALUE for your money. They are a little bit short staffed, and, can be a bit of a wait. However, once you get the food, it's hot and DELICIOUS authentic Asian food. If you don't like the wait, you may order on the phone.I love it here , Vicky the owner is the best, and, so is the food in this small restaurant. Also, the bathroom is the back since it's an old Taco Bell store. Everything else is EXCELLENT.“
“I liked the majority of the food. Number 68, the shrimp was actually so bad. However, the rest of the bowl was nice if you added chili oil. The cilantro stems were a little too long for my liking though. Number 11 was delicious. The service was nice. Keep in mind that I am not familiar with this type of food. Overall, the food was great.“
“I wanted to try a St. Paul Sandwich, and Old St Louis Chop Suey came up as having a great one. I had my doubts, but the service was great, and the sandwich was excellent. I have not tried the rest of their menu, but if you are looking for the unique experience of a St. Paul sandwich, this is your spot.“
