Restaurantji's guide to Chesterfield's top Mexican dining experiences.
“The food was really good, but somewhat salty. Also, what we consider mexican street corn is called "Elote Mexicano." It's not the same... They useTajin chili powder, which has a slight lime taste and higher salt content. Remember, Cotijan cheese has a salty finish. I didn't taste any smoked paprika. And the type of mayonnaise used really does matter. IJS. If you're looking for what I was looking for, "Mexican STREET CORN" look elsewhere. However, the atmosphere is laid-back with a nice, cozy feel. Kid friendly atmosphere. Drinks are OK. BEWARE: This place is NOT for anyone with high blood pressure. I'm sure a ton of places would match this description. ?“
“Enchiladas Supreme, chicken soup,3 grilled chicken tacos,&Poblano/chic burrito combo was good tasting.3 grilled chicken tacos were cold/luke warm after eating the 1st one. When we finally got the attention of our waiter(on his phone),they promptly warmed up the other 2.We also had a side of nopales, which were also cooked well.Service was pretty good.“
“Awsome restuarant. Food was fresh and came out sizzling. Beans,Lettuce, tomatoes, shrimp, and steak were just plain good. The price wasn't bad at all for the amount of food my family and I received. We ate in and got very full and still brought food home enough to get full again. Just good. Good enough to make you close your eyes when you taste it and say "this is REALLY good". Fifty six bucks filled my wife, daughter, and myself up completely.Kid-friendliness: Server made sure we were cared for well.“
“BEST Tasting Mexican food in the St. Louis area. I don’t eat meat and they were able to accommodate and make a vegetable medley. The vegetables melt in your mouth, everything from the chips to the beans were excellent. The salsa tasted like a tasty lasagna which was AMAZING. The customer service was above and beyond. ?Vegetarian options: Vegetable BurritoVegetable Quesadilla“
“We both chose combination meals. They were much more tasty and had more fillings than the other Mexican restaurant at Hilltop. Service was slow to begin with. We had to flag someone down. They have these margarita towers that are impressive.“
“We had lunch there again yesterday, and it was amazing! The food and service are consistently excellent. Everything we had … fajitas, tacos, enchilada, beans, chips and salsa) were delicious. The gentleman that waited on us was very pleasant and attentive. The place is super clean and cute. All that we ate for only $25. The chips and salsa are the best in STL.Parking: Plenty of parking, including disabled parking, immediately in front of the restaurant.“
