Had a great evening at Satchmos. The chicken wings were packed with flavor, plump and juicy. I had the bacon wrapped filet which was cooked perfectly and a nice cut of meat. My wife had the nachos as entree and loved them. The drinks have always been excellent and while we didn’t have dessert because we were stuffed we will surely save room for next time.
Satchmo's is a great place to go just for a casual meal. It's comfortable and friendly. Nothing fancy but the food is good, some typical bar food and delicious Cajun. Hamburgers are wonderful. Service may be slow at times but it's worth the wait. I don't think I've ever seen more than one server but she handles everything well and with a cheerful attitude. I've never had a bad experience there.
