The food was amazing, the service was awesome and the portions are very large. Very happy.
Wow!! We stopped in, as we are from out of town, and got some BBQ to go. Wife got smoked, sliced Turkey. I got the best burnt ends I have ever eaten. Baked beans and fries were awesome also!Wife loved the Turkey. Everyone was friendly, and service was speedy. We will definitely go back when we can!! Keep up the great work!!
Growing up in Kansas City, I've tasted a lot of BBQ. Como Smoke and Fire is outstanding. The brisket, pulled pork, ribs, jalapeno brat, and turkey were incredibly tender and had great flavor when dry, but a splash of any of their three BBQ sauces made these meats really excel. Very impressed.
It was delicious. The service was perfect. The ribs were very tender and seasoned well.
Overall a pretty nice place. The food came out quick and it tasted pretty good. I would go there again.
Would highly recommend, como smoke and fire Columbia Missouri to anyone their food is awesome and the customer service is great thank you so much you definitely made a believer out of me this is my first time well second time eating and love it
Good food. Casual and friendly environment. Would eat there again.
Casual BBQ place with friendly atmosphere. Brisket was flavorful and moist. Gold and Heat sauces were great, although the Sweet sauce was a little too sweet for me ( happens a lot). Terrific selection of sides and really good drinks.
I have seen and heard about Como for a while and decided to give it a try on my way through. I ordered the beef burnt ends, loaded baked potato salad, and creamy cole slaw to go. (To go orders are strictly done online through their website, delivered through a pick up window. *Note- pickups take @ 40 minutes for prep.) I have to say, the beef burnt ends were the best burnt ends I have ever had. Incredibly tender, not too fatty, and not at all overly salty. I couldn’t eat them fast enough! The baked potato salad was typical- not bad by any means, just not overly special. I did not care for the creamy cole slaw. It is a horseradish slaw with no sweetness. If that’s your thing, you’ll love it. The drive up window was easy to get to. The sitting inside is limited, but there is covered patio seating connecting to the back of the restaurant. Would I recommend Como Smoke and Fire? Yes. Would I go there again? ABSOLUTELY.
Went a few weeks ago when i was in town visiting family. It was mine and my dads birthdays and i really enjoyed that they offer a to-go bday dessert option. I also love that they let elders order from the kids menu. Their sauces are awesome, burnt ends are awesome, and portions weren’t enormous (which i like). Would definitely go back!
Stopped here on our cross country road trip per recommendation from a friend. Went above and beyond. Best fried pickles I have EVER had. Absolutely worth the stop. Service was also super fast. Only eh was the Bloody Mary, didn't finish it. But, it's a bbq joint, not an esteemed Bloody Mary establishment, and the food was well worth the 5 stars.
I only come up to como a few times a year. My friend recommended me this place, and boy I’m glad I went. Staff was very friendly. Our waiter Spencer was great and very attentive. We started off with a half order of fried green tomatoes and those were delicious. It came with 4 giant slices of tomatoes. Then I ordered burnt ends with floating salad and the cheese bacon ranch potato salad and my friend got the salmon with 2 sides of the veggies. We intend on splitting everything and it was delicious. The veggies even though they were an up-charge were a huge portion. I will definitely be back again to try out some more food.
Don't assume anything by the exterior/location. This is a local favorite. They offer pulled pork, chicken, brisket, and ribs, along with typical BBQ sides (macaroni and cheese, potato salad, fries, coleslaw, etc). It is a sit down restaurant. Expect 30-45 minutes total over lunch hour (from sit down to food at table), and faster times during off hours.Quality is excellent, and the menu is diverse. Sandwiches, mains, sides, burgers, and salads are all available to order. They have also have a fully stocked bar with beer on tap. Outdoor patio is nice and fully covered. Personal favorite if introducing someone to local Columbia dining for the first time.
As an out of towner I was super impressed with the Q and service was excellent. Jaymi is a super fun and energetic bar tender. I ate there three times If you're in the area stop in. Side note that I didn't hear about until after I ate my third meal the "smoked turkey is the goods" as several locals told me.
The food was descent. It was hot and somewhat quick for takeout. However the service was atrocious. The man taking orders over the phone was so rude; he was angry because we changed our mind on one item in our order and basically hung up on me so I had to call back and place the order again. Before we made the decision to order over the phone we had wanted to dine in, when we approached the hostess she aggressively informed us that there was no space for the next hour and a half meanwhile there was 4 open booths and the outside was completely open. She was extremely rude and dismissive. Biggest regret is that we actually ended up spending money here.
