If you're looking for a more upscale Mexican food experience with a nice ambience and great outdoor seating as well, this is your place to go in Columbia, MO.Being from Texas and from a mostly a family of Mexican descent, I can say the Mexican food is not the best you will ever have however, it is very good for this area. Better tortillas would go a long way to improving the experience, however, when I am in the Columbia area I will definitely not turn down an invitation to eat here!

Stopped in for a margarita and appetizers. Ordered the guacamole Mexicano and was not disappointed. Met several friends there a week later and again everything was very good. They are very busy so it sometimes takes a while to get a table. The food is worth the wait.

Excellent as always, my favorite chilaguiles in town.

Every time I eat here I am satisfied! Price is reasonable, food is delicious and well portioned, salsa and queso dip are perfect.

The food was decent not mind blowing authentic. The atmosphere was great, seems this is the place where people go to drink margaritas and hangout. The place was packed and had great service. The food came out quickly, it was not piping hot 165 degrees. I was shocked when I received the bill, it was way less than I expected. Great value for what you get.

I'll give the good stuff first. The view for the lake was very pretty. The restaurant is nice inside and the food was yummy. Now for the bad, I think we waited almost 40 minutes for any food to come and that was after waiting 15 minutes for even anyone taking our order. . No napkins, hardly saw our wait staff. It's unfortunate to wait and wait for service.

I always order the Arroz Margaritas, used to be amazing, but they raised the price to $15 a plate from $10.99. While I can understand the price change I don't understand why it's now 75% rice topped with chewy chicken and beef and a few pieces of shrimp. Used to be great but the price and portions are currently asinine.

I would love to like this place. I live very close and still go fairly regularly because it is convenient. It has above average Mexican food for Missouri. The margaritas are really good and you probably shouldnt drive home after one of those pitchers lol. However, the service here is pretty lousy. The last three times I ate inside it took an hour or more to get the food after sitting down. Last time it took 25 minutes to get water served. Two times ago they took our water when they thought we were done. I guess it was to push us out, they do get busy on weekends. Last time I got take out they gave us two of three quesadillas we ordered. The quesadillas were mushy. The tortillas were slightly cooked, hardly any cheese, and the meat was so wet that the quesadillas were sitting in a pool of juice. They can never seem to get everything right when we go. Overall not worth getting take out from there go to Taqueria Don Pancho. And if you want to eat there (on a weekend when you have more time wait around), make sure to expect a 30 minute wait to get in and possible an hour to get food. If you're going for just drinks you made the right choice!

Great food, great drinks, beautiful view and very friendly staff. My Dad and I checked this place out after being recommended by our Airbnb host. We were in town for Father's Day weekend. It was worth the short drive from Fulton to Columbia. We sat at the bar and both bartenders were very friendly and gave us exceptional service. We were so happy we came in for dinner! Started our trip off just the way we were hoping! Check this place out.

Excellent dishes and friendly service. My wife and I were both stuffed because of the generous portion sizes. There is also outdoor seating with an excellent view of a lake.

5 freaking stars!!!! This place has incredible Mexican food. I'm from Phoenix, so I'm relatively picky when it comes to authentic Mexican food. However, Las margaritas blew me away. My favorite item is the arrows margaritas plate. This dish is stacked to the brim with three different types of protein, rice, bell peppers, onions, and all topped with a "healthy" serving of queso. The margaritas here are also fantastic!!

When we first moved to Columbia we went to this restaurant and it was amazing. Service was great and the food was awesome. However we’ve been back a few times since and it seems to get worse each time we go, especially the service. They either act like they don’t care or can’t seem to remember your order. We were even told that we couldn’t order a simple plain chicken quesadilla because they don’t make it like that, then proceeded to bring my son something that didn’t even resemble a quesadilla.Unfortunately we’ll be going someplace else from now on.

This place has good chips and a great patio, unfortunately the food was bland. I had the fajitas. The salsa had the consistency of tomato sause, but had a bit of a kick. As my gf put it, the guacamole tasted like it came from a bag.
