The pizza is pretty good, the best in Columbia, but definitely overpriced.

I'm a regular at Pizza Tree, and I have to start this out by saying it is one of the best spots in Columbia for pizza. It's always fire, the staff is always nice, and the vibe is right. Lately, this has been shifting, particularly on the weekends. The past 3 of which, I have been given cold pizza. For any newcomers, you order your slice at the window, they toss it in the oven to warm up for a few minutes, and then you're on your way with a piping hot, delicious slice. This has been the procedure every time I go to pizza tree, except for these most recent times on the weekends. The 1st time I was thrown off. The second time I was in a rush and didn't find out til I got back to my car. So this 3rd time it was about to happen, I made sure to ask for it to be heated up. When I asked for the slices to be heated up I was told by the cashier that since they were coming out of the "warmer" (display window), that "they would be fine". Once again, I was in a rush, and took their word for it. I received my pizza and started the walk back to my car (very little parking downtown, especially near pizza tree, so I always have to walk). By the time I walked down the street and opened the box, I had two cold, flaccid slices of Mac and Cheese pizza, again. Great. I still tried to eat it, but it was unappetizing to the point I had to forego lunch and wait until I got back home later to heat up the slices myself, which completely defeats the purpose of picking up lunch somewhere...The staff is normally super friendly and accommodating, I'm confused why I wasn't allowed to have my pizza warmed up when that has been the standard procedure every time. The restaurant did not appear to be busy inside, and I was the only customer in line, in the middle of the afternoon. I'm not sure why this would have been an inconvenience. After waiting all week for the Mac and Cheese slices that they only have on the weekends, I was feeling very disappointed. Not to mention, the slices themselves were very light on toppings (pictured), it's typically a hefty slice with 2x amount of noodles.P.S. I didn't think I had to explain this to the worker, but since I have time now, I'll do it here. The reheat is what makes Pizza Tree pizza the bomb. For 1. It heats up the pizza, the cheese is warm and gooey, who doesn't like hot pizza? and 2. It gets a perfect level of crispness that is not achievable from the initial bake. I've ordered a full pie from here before, and it's not the same, or as good as the slices. The reheat is what makes the slice.Parking: Nearly impossible to find parking nearby

This is 1 of 2 of my fav pizza places in CoMo. You can’t go wrong with the classic pepperoni, reminds me of NY style but thicker crust. They also have different/interesting topping combos that I want to try! Take out only, but you can also get Pizza by the

A hidden gem in CoMo! Best thin crust I’ve had, and I’m a die hard Imo’s gal from STL. It was crispy and soft but not too hard. Mind blown. I’ll be back.

Pizza Tree is probably the best local place in Columbia (sorry, Shakespeare's). Their rotating menu is interesting, and all the options are held to the same quality. It's usually pretty fast, but on game nights, it can be way too long of a line.Pizza Tree doesn't have an interior. It's just a window outside a building. It can suck trying to get something when the weather is bad, but that also means it's easier and faster to get your food.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, and they're pretty good. All staff should be able to explain the available options. The rotating menu does mean that sometimes their only vegetatian option is cheese, which is a shame.Parking: Only option is parking on the street, which costs money most days. It's also located in a busy area downtown, so it can really be hard to find parking. There are garages nearby.

Unique pizzas. The ones with honey made me have a deep, life changing revelation that honey enhances everything.

Some of the best pizza in Columbia. Whenever we have family come visit we always make sure to get Pizza Tree one night. I also appreciate that they come out with new interesting flavors to try. The burnt end pizza for the super bowl was amazing.
