What a lovely little place! This was our first sushi in Missouri. The server/host was an absolutely delightful person. He was kind and helpful and gave us plenty of space and time to decide. We were disappointed in the lack of options when it came to raw fish in the rolls. There were great nigiri and sashimi Options, but the rolls were mostly cooked fish or crab/shrimp based. What we ordered though - it was incredible. Hamachi sashimi, rainbow roll, unagi roll, and spider roll. The rainbow roll did have raw salmon and tuna on it, so that was the favorite! But all rolls were incredible!

Went on a Saturday around 3pm. We were seated fairly quick however the table was dirty. Asked for a rag to wipe it down and was told that my server would do it. This was fine by me. However, it took our server 10 plus minutes to come to our table. Mind you, they were not busy, and there were at least three tables there with a few patrons. Once she did show up, she was friendly and took our order. There were five of us. It took us over an hour before we got our food. It took the server quite a while for her to come with our check. She never showed back up to pick up the check up. We left the exact change. I've been to Sake before and have always raved about the place. However, after this visit, my family and I will not be returning.

Friendly service but the wait time for the food was very long, 30-45 minutes waiting for sushi and noodles. It was very good food but a bit expensive for the portion sizes.

Has some good options, but feels as though the quality has gone down within the last two years of going.
❤️My favorite restaurant. Udon is simply great. The chefs cook like gods. The only negative is, please remove the dust on the ceiling, all the dirt spills into the plates of food.

Tataki was raw, not seared or rare as stated on the menu. Gyoza was gummy and tepid. It tasted like it came out of a microwave. Tempura was decent, but unremarkable. Staff doing impromptu karaoke to the trendy club Muzak was annoying and unprofessional. Won’t be back.

Definitely my favorite sushi place in Columbia. The foods awesome and the staff are really friendly. It can be a bit pricey if you go too crazy with the nigiri but that's my favorite type of sushi so it's always worth
