My coworker and I go here to work when we have to work but we don't want to do it at work. I dig the little comfy backroom with the couches and stuff where I always cuddle up and

I moved to Chicago about a year ago and coming back here hit me with a truckload of nostalgia. The baristas are always so kind and the seating area is always clean and feels nice to be in.

this place is absolutely so amazing I definitely recommend coming here! The workers are so friendly and welcoming and their service is always a 10/10 and the food/drinks are amazing. When I walk In it’s always so calming, I definitely recommend visiting!! (Some recommendations are the Mac n cheese, lemonades, teas, smoothies, or any of their coffees)

Espresso drinks and teas are good, especially the chai. But they are almost always out of paninis, they only prep enough for one day a week it seems.I dont ever go here for food because 9/10 i go they are out.

It’s a really great place to study and grab a coffee after class, but as soon as the middle/high schoolers get out of class, they migrate here. It becomes unbearable because the children are running around, yelling, and being irksome. The Grind really is an 18+ establishment or anyone who can sit in a chair and behave. Like jesus christ some of us want to study without being body slammed by pre-teens jumping around. Love the coffee and baristas.

Quaint little place, but it can get loud as it is a coffee shop and people having conversations, but it seems that there are lots of students at like to study there.

Hesitate to come here between 1 and 4:30 PM on week days. Kids from schools come and run around the shop, break glass, and scream. Parents seem to treat this place like an after school day care for their kids.

Two days in a row I received the best iced latte that I’ve ever had. At the big green competitor across town you can always tell that the espresso is not changed properly and comes off dirty or ashy in taste. Everything about my beverage from The Grind on Forum was perfect. Your attention to detail and friendly employees have converted a new customer here. Thank you!

Going to The Grind, I always enjoy their drinks. The food is a mixed bag and can be amazing or not. There is lots of comfortable seating, and the place feels relaxing. The staff are usually friendly and drinks are ready quickly.
