Unexpected Surprise! My oldest son treated me to lunch. He made suggestions on what to order, followed his lead. Popcorn chicken in spicy garlic sauce, cheeseburger and fries. OMG!!!!! I had no idea I would be pleasantly surprised and delighted by lunch, but their burger was so tasty and much like a homemade burger. But....what really hit home were the thick, spiraled fries!! Went here at 7:30 on Saturday night and it was deserted. Was looking forward to étouffée (on the online menu) but it was not on the menu I got when I sat down. Ordered a garlic shrimp po' boy and it turned out to be drowned in Buffalo sauce rather than the promised garlic sauce. No garlic whatsoever, just Buffalo (would not have ordered if I knew). Went here for my birthday brunch and it was phenomenal. Food was absolutely delicious, drinks were great, and service was fast and friendly. It wasn't very busy, which I was surprised by since it's such a great spot and primetime on a Sunday. It is underground but has plenty of natural light. More people should know about this awesome spot!!
