Mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy, and the best green beans that I have ever had! Amazing prices, amazing food, and the best Strawberry-Rhubarb pie that I have ever had! “This is my first time visiting this absolutely beautiful restaurant! I was pleasantly welcomed by the owner and shown to my table. The ambiance is beautiful & traditional Syrian/Mediterranean which immediately takes you away from where you are. The service was excellent. Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious! I had the stuffed grape leaves, a light traditional soup, and the beef dish served with a light yogurt & vegetables. If you haven't tried this wonderful establishment, you must give it a try! Very unique and a well needed addition to this little cove of Creve Couer! I will definitely be returning often & bringing others!!”

“You will never be disappointed at Spiros. Food is always outstanding and service is excellent. Multiple fireplaces in the dining area and the outside patio has a fire pit feature and heaters if you want to brave cooler temperatures. Never feel rushed or neglected. There's a reason they have been around in multiple locations for decades. My family started going to the Natural Bridge location in the 60's. We are 3rd generation regulars at this location.”

The owner and his family are welcoming and value their customers. It’s very apparent in their service and quality of the dishes! I love that there isn’t a 5 page menu to dig through. They have their set menu and they have mastered every single dish! From the arroz con pollo seasoned to perfection, to the seafood ceviche your tastebuds will be dancing with delight! You must start with the plantain chips (1 order is not enough lol) and finish off with their tiramisu and Colombian coffee made fresh to order! So glad to have found this place! Call ahead on a weekend night, it is definitely worth any wait!”

Fondue was good but the popovers were kind of doughy and dense.Beef tartare - fine, not great - the tartare was a bit flavorless and flat despite being served with a jusFrench onion soup - good! No complaints.Mussels - the star of the show, 5/5, some of the best mussels I’ve hadPain perdu - a carmelized dessert with toasted brioche and Clementine’s ice cream that was delicious.Special shout out to the mocktail Papillon. I don’t like when mocktails are just fruit juice but this one really had the complexity and slight bitterness of a cocktail.Overall we would come back but there are flavor profiles of some dishes that could be elevated to make this a 5/5 meal.”

“We were in attendance for Monthly Girlfriend luncheon. Only 1 of us 4 had visited Hendel's in the distant past and she chose the restaurant. You don't see a lot of truly warm and cozy restaurants nestled within the neighborhood that's prospered. The food was good and service was excellent and as we have visited restaurants month after months, it's obvious that cooks aren't same. There is space for indoor & outdoor eating with limited parking. Nice afternoon luncheon experience ?Parking: Free parking in rear where u have a short walk from vehicle into establishment, but if full being that it's sitting in residential area, one can park on side street, no meters, & without inconveniencing residents.Kid-friendliness: Kids were running around where we sat indoors but no one seemed disturbed by their antics ?”
