don't know who was in the kitchen but they're seasoning with their imagination. my fries are overcooked, can barely bite into them. i got the catfish nuggets (could be mistaken for paper, it's so bland). my friend got this kebab bowl of some sort, bland, and overcooked. too expensive to be this nasty. 0/10. DO BETTER!p.s my cup of cheese for my fries was nasty, too. how is concession stand cheese nasty.... no complaints with the atmosphere or their customer service.

The food was horrible... the Fish was over cooked, rubbery like as tho it had been sitting all day, batter was like mashed corn flakes from the 90s. The food was just terrible, the best thing on the menu was the Napkins........ terrible terrible terrible. Anytime a set establishment has a consistent change of staff, be aware.....
This place used to be good, but it has declined tremendously. After seeing this girl working behind the counter in her mismatched socks and acting like a straight crackhead, I will never eat here again.

I called in to order 10 piece catfish and fries. We didn't receive our fries and the fish didn't taste like catfish. I called and someone explained that Jaylen is new, the 10 piece catfish doesn't come with fries. During my first call the lady wanted to go back and forth about looking on the menu to see my order doesn't come with fries despite my discussion with Jaylen and printed order receipt. Out of frustration I hung up and never continued about the fish not tasting like catfish. After I calmed down I called again. The second person said there is a computer issue. After asking how the mistake would be resolved multiple times I finally received an answer to return with my receipt for a refund. New York Grill don't throw your employees under the bus. If you have a computer issue fix it. However that doesn't explain the fish not tasting like catfish.
