I am visiting a friend from out of town and we stopped by to see what sort of sweet treats we wanted to have at home. This beautiful shop is full of an abundance of tempting treats for those looking for special desserts/snacks/treats for any occasion. We ended up grabbing some cake pops, pineapple upside-down cake, gooey butter cake, and chocolate-covered Oreos. The gooey-butter cake was absolutely amazing—gooey, sweet, rich and decadent! If you love this cake, grab a piece for yourself. I have had one of the cake-pops (milk-chocolate covered banana cake), and it was absolutely delicious! The chocolate had a nice crack to it and the banana cake was moist and had a nice, strong natural banana flavor. The pineapple upside down cake (sold in individual large squares) was moist, covered with a nice crunch of crystallized sugar with a cherry on top, and was just amazing. Also highly recommend! Haven’t tried the other items, but will report back when I do. There are also crunchy dog treats for your fur baby available for sale, which we are saving for our next visit with friends who have a dog. This place is full of gorgeous wedding cakes, as well as cupcakes, the latter of which we will need to review after we return at a later date to try them. There is a reason this shop won the 4th season of The Next Great Baker…you need to visit and see for yourself. Highly recommend this fantastic bakery!!

Yummiest pineapple upside down cake ever!! We bought my banana flavored birthday cake, wonderful cake pops and the best single serve pineapple upside down cake ever! The cakes are moist and tasty! Order a birthday cake for Christmas Day , didn’t get the filling I asked for! When I called to tell them about the mix up they said they would only refund me for only the filling and said well was the cake good and did you eat it! What do you expect it’s Christmas so are we supposed to bring it back 2 weeks later ! And that person that ended up with my filling are you going to call them up and ask for them to pay for a filling they didn’t pay for.The owner was very rude , I asked him to make it right and give me half off on the next cake order and his response was you just want a free cake,, really , I don’t recommend any one going there he has a bad attitude and if you do make sure you cut into your cake before you leave to make sure that is what you ordered !!!

Ordered more than 2doz cupcakes for a bday celeb few days ago. So many good flavors! Loved the orange, strawberry, & red velvet. Though all other flavors were enjoyed by all - funfetti, lemon, white, chocolate, Just the perfect moist and texture! Also used them for my daughter's wedding cake in 2022 which we received so many compliments on. Glad they're now closer to me in O'Fallon! Finally, the owner is such a pleasure to deal with. During the process, their team was very hospitable and kind, helping us through all the little details that we hadn't even considered. They offer an abundance of filling, icing, and cake flavor options. All of the options can be overwhelming at first, but their team made it such an easy, enjoyable process. It was clear that there wasn't any pressure to choose the more expensive option, which was quite a relief, especially amidst the wedding planning pressures. Everyone on the team has a welcoming aura and is oriented towards what suits you the best.We provided a general image of what we wanted the cake to look like, added some revisions, and they turned it into a reality. The cake was as beautiful on the outside as it was delicious on the inside. It was absolutely breathtaking, almost too good to eat. It tasted divine - rich in flavor, with the perfect balance of creamy and fluffy. All of our wedding guests shared their compliments. (Our wedding was a few months ago and I'm tempted to order another cake on a weekly basis - that's how good it was.)Overall, their team is beyond talented and amicable. My friend orders cakes every year from Temmtations for her daughter’s birthday, and I’m always amazed! I had the pleasure of ordering a cake for her this year, and oh wow!!! First I was amazed by the awesome customer service!! Mo and the manager (I wrote down his name for this review and lost my paper ?) were both incredibly sweet, super helpful, quick to respond, and did I mention how sweet and kind they are?!? I gave them a theme, and told them I trust their judgement. They did NOT disappoint!!! Also, not only is the customer service phenomenal, the cake and cupcakes looked incredible, but everything was sooooooo yummy!!!!! The cake is moist and has the best flavor I’ve ever tasted! We got red velvet with cream cheese filling for the cake, then white and chocolate cupcakes! I highly recommend Temmtations and will most certainly be ordering from them again!!!!
