Massa's is the penultimate American Italian cuisine and one of the best in the country! It's cozy with attentive service. The food is more than one can eat. The Carbona and Cajun pasta are world class!Please remember this is American Italian. They're not going to give you olive oil and vinegar and little European delicacies. Massa's (Bridgeton) is EXACTLY the kind of place you want to check out if you're from out of town, which I was when I stopped in. It's not some corporate, stamped out chain restaurant - this place is the O.G. and for food reason. The staff was great, the atmosphere felt like you were having dinner with family and the food - holy geez. Fantastic ravioli. Hands down the best part of my trip.

What an awesome little spot! We came late after a volleyball game, just an hour before closing and they were so great! Food was amazing, service was so friendly after they had been slammed all day! Our server Mary Beth was just so sweet, fun, and friendly!! We definitely recommend this little diamond in the rough! Very small little place, but atmosphere was excellent! Will try to visit anytime we are in STL!
