Expect to spend $20-$25 per person. I rave about this place. I have ate here almost every week since she used to be in the gas station. However, it seems the bigger they got the more attitudes they give. Obviously the server does not have any customer service skills or listening skills. It wasn't always this way. Hope it changes because this is the reason why a lot of Mexican restaurants go out of business.Shout out to her daughter who is also a server there which we loveeee! Always understanding and prompt. This is why we continue to go back along with great plates.

Ohhh my yum! ? I think we found a new favorite authentic taco place. AND it’s on this side of the state line so close to home even!!All the ingredients tasted so fresh and full of flavor! The server was super sweet and helpful too.Parking: The parking lot was full (which got our attention and drew us in) so we parked next door in the Aldi lot.

THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN ALL OF KC! I don’t even like eating out Mexican food here. I’d rather just make it at home, they must really be from California! We had a torta de asada, tacos al pastor&asada, sope de carnitas, menudo, Birria tacos wow! Literally every item was amazing and the best in the metro. I’ve been to all the Mexican places and I usually have to go for one spot for a torta, a different spot for Menudo, birria etc.

The food is the closest to real Mexican food I’ve had NOTB and I have tried a lot of places all over the KC area, very surprised to find the best right around the Stadiums area. I’ve had great birria, tortas, and enchiladas there. The Micheladas are great, even the non Alcoholic style. Also their cafe de olla. Because they are so good they are always busy with more customers than they are able to serve in a timely way so be patient when you go. Also expect more of a hole in the wall type setting, but aren’t those often the best?

I ate here a while ago when they had just relocated and the food was good but I found not one but THREE long black hairs in my birria tacos. Idk if it was a race thing or what because the cook was scowling at me for no reason when I was placing my order. Probably won’t be coming back which may have been their goal. They did give us a free taco after we complained
