Wifey had a fish dinner which was great. I had a burger. Great having A&W as well. We'll be back for sure.Update 3.10.24We split a plate this time. Very good deal and filling.We also had extra hush puppies.Plate was 2 fish. 3 chicken

They are always short staffed. They are the only one other than Liberty in the Kansas City area. So you have a very long wait time.. the staff is usually friendly. I asked for fresh fries. They were not hot. They were lukewarm. Their fries aren't the best to begin with. I went inside this time. The drive thru was barely moving. If I hadn't checked my bag before leaving I would have not gotten my coleslaw. Or silverware and napkins.Parking: The parking lot is not very big. The drive thru gets in the way of exiting. I had to go the wrong way to get out so that I avoided getting stuck.

Don’t get me wrong, I love their food. HOWEVER, they close whenever they want to. This is at least the 5th time we’ve driven an hour to order through their drive-through only to be told they’re closed for the night while their lights are all on and they don’t actually close for another 45 minutes to an hour. IF YOU’RE GOING TO CLOSE EARLY, CLOSE EARLY AND CHANGE YOUR HOURS. It’s not even hard to do.

Food was great. LJS my fav fish & chips. that mild fish with Malt Vinegar. The place is run down. No indoor service when I visited. Dirty. Trash, broken concrete. But I loved the food. I went to LJS twice in 2 days. The other one was the one over in.. Shawnee I think. That was way ahead of the 40 Hwy. But the food.. how I love it!
Still hoping for environmentally friendly to-go packaging... Some is and some isn't . . .

Every time I come here it is the same problem behind grilled fish tacos... There's always an excuse why they don't have them or won't cook them. It's very disappointing to go somewhere so many times And not have a good experience...
