Old fashioned drive-in complete with car hops. Zip burgers are very tastey and tbe home-made rootbeer was excellent. I should have bought a gallon to go. I would be a regular if I lived in Independence.

The woman working is fabulous. Food was okay. The place needs a really good cleaning. And there was a pretty bad smell of mold. I'm not sure if it was from the ac being bad or from the older building but definitely needs to be checked out. Would be a wonderful place if it had a bit more life to it.

Stay away from this business for they rip you off if you aren't paying attention to your bill. They ripped me of for $10.00. Tried to call to discuss my bill and they refuse to talk to me. They stated it was the car hop. I don't care as far as I am concerned the whole place is shady. I think everyone who works there are all in on it. In on it meaning all of'em are ripping people off everyday all day!

I love this place! The zip burger is so good, loose meat hamburger with spices, onions & mustard. If I was really hungry I would go with the double zip burger, fries and/or onion rings, share a Hummus platter, maybe have a Black Cow (root bear float) or peanut butter shake... and get a cute t shirt to go...
