Love this restaurant. Only complaints are price and food quality not being the best.

Kids loved it. A lot of fun for them. The 1 tiny bowl limit per pass is a little crazy, but you can go through as many times as you want. I do wish they put eggs back in the menu.

The best thing is you can make your own dish to your liking and watch it being cooked. Staff is always friendly. I have not had anything that is not fresh here.

I've had huhot in Topeka Kansas about a dozen times and I absolutely loved it I had it in Denver and it was delicious but when I had it here in Joplin I was disappointed the bowls are smaller so I had to go back for seconds which is very time consuming and the sauces were bland and my cook overcooked my dishes. At $18 a person I won't be going back. On the up side I was supposed to be there that day because someone left their purse and I made sure an employee got it before it could be rifled through so my visit made someone's day.
Love the concept. Can't go wrong with a build-your-own Mongolian Grill. Great selection of items and sauces. They have some menus cards on the table if you need suggestions. I love the "Mild Mannered Mongols" recipe, but my husband loves mixing and matching something new every time he runs the line. We travel over an hour to come here since they closed the one in our city. Hahaha. Is that sad? We will most definitely be back.

Food was ok. The food in the serve yourself smelled of raw fish & the cooking area was pretty gross. People were nice. Don't think I will be back.

We stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday around 3 pm. It was our first experience with HuHot. I'm WFPB vegan and my husband is vegetarian. My 2 sons eat meat so this seemed perfect for all of us. My issue is the vegetables were not fresh at all. A few veggies were on their way out and for what we paid it was disappointing. The sauces were good and my kids enjoyed their food, but I was indifferent since the kale was yellowing, the cabbage wasn't crisp, etc. We will give it another shot, though, in case it was an off day.Vegetarian options: There was a large variety of veggies. You build your own plate so you choose what you want.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love this because they choose their foods and watch it cook.
