Stopped in there for lunch had the specials three piece of fish and red beans and rice and a drink so it was just what I expected it's very good food and I will be going back

Manager very rude and not helpful. Lied about checking order. Location dirty. To-go order left out on counter with no heating and cold when arrived home. Order wrong, no apology or way to make right. Said owner sick and she (manager) was only one to deal with. Never going there again.

Food is usually good, but my order tasted nasty (I told them it tasted “off” to be polite) tonight and there was noticeable less meat on the sandwich than usual and my dad’s food was cold. I called and told them my complaints and asked if could get refund or replacement order and the woman who answered the phone called me a liar and said she wouldn’t make the situation right. She showed me zero respect and was rude when I never said or did anything to warrant her reaction. I won’t be giving them anymore business.You can see in the picture of the food the cheese isn’t fully melted. So clearly it was never hot enough.

A little pricey and not that great. The gumbo has fake crab in it which has a really strange texture, and the gumbo tastes as if it was cooked in a pressure cooker - the consistency is mushy. Which is sad because it has a good flavor. The fried oysters are really large, but always undercooked, and the catfish fillets are tough on the ends so only the middle is worth eating. Maybe they fry ahead and then put them in the microwave when ordered? I only stop in occasionally for the crab cakes. They're good, but pricey. Everything else you can get done better at Red Hot & Blue.

Called 40 minutes before close and the lady chewed me out, stating she better not have to stay past 9:00 pm (closing time). Wanted me to assure her I would be there before 9:00 before she'd take my order. I could see if I was calling 5 minutes before close, but badgering a customer 40 mins before close isn't good biz.

The inside is filthy. Ordered online for a pickup & was told my order would be ready between 6-6:15. I arrived at 6:10 & they had just put my order in the computer system. They couldn't tell me how long it would take to get the order ready. Staff is very unprofessional. The restaurant was busy & one girl grabbed her cell phone & announced she had to go to the bathroom.

The best fried jumbo shrimp I've ever eaten. The fresh fried fish is excellent. The seafood served here puts the local Red Lobster to shame. This is the best Southern seafood restaurant in the four state area without a doubt. 5 stars, highly recommended.
