“Not sure what the theme for this restaurant was, but I had the impossible burger, and I was deeply impressed. I have been a beef eater, all my life. This burger was amazing. Would recommend trying it if you were curious. The staff was amazing, I can't remember the waitress name now, it was one of those 'like this city name but without the last letter's people. She did amazing.“
“Absolutely love Brewers Kitchen. Staff is extremely friendly, local beer selection is fantastic and the food is nothing short of amazing. Ive had just about every thing on the menu in the last 6 months of visiting and have never been disappointed. Their house made Honey Mustard is exceptional and wish I could buy gallons of it for back home it's that good. The food really is the star of the show, you can tell nothing is frozen and everything is fresh and made to order. If you want the best burger in KC, you need to come in to Brewers Kitchen.“
“In all my travels, I haven’t had better food, drink, or service for the price! I stayed at the hotel across the street, and came here every day. I wish I lived here so I could come daily. Sarah, Christina, and Alice all did an amazing job at the bar. Amanda was a stellar server, and Sai is a master on the grill. Martin was observant and helpful as a manager. If I ever come back to this part of KC, I will happily come back and say hello.“
“We were staying at the Hampton Inn downtown and were looking for a good restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. The city market area has about a dozen restaurants to choose from, so we chose this one. It was an excellent choice. The restaurant is very bright due to having a lot of windows, as well as many light fixtures inside. We started with the shrimp toast appetizer, and it was outstanding. It contained toasted pieces of baguette covered in gold shrimp, moray, chives, Sriracha, nuox Cham cauliflower, and sesame crunch. I could just eat that dish again for my dinner. For entrees, we had the Bahn MI sandwich and the grilled quail. The Bahn MI consisted of pork meatballs, bacon pate, pickled vegetables, chili aioli, banana ketchup, chili oil and cilantro. It was very flavorful but a little spicy. My husband had the grilled quail. He loved it. It was accompanied by ginger-lime fried rice. We would definitely return.“
“Been livin on broadway since 2022 just finally stopped by the other day, it was like 4am and no I wasn’t drunk lol but everything was lovely and the lady was nice. Those fries are pretty dang goodParking: It was Friday 4am so it was dead, it might look different on Saturday or Sunday 4am“
“Heads up this is on the industrial side and it could startle people but I love the location it's safe enough just don't leave your car running or unlocked and you'll be fine. Anyways THESE SANDWICHES ARE AMAZING FOR $9 AND THE FRIES ARE FANTASTIC! you're wasting your life if you don't eat this once a “
“Vegetarian options: Veggie Burger & SaladsKid-friendliness: Kids menu available (10 & under) with plenty of options, dessert included (bring your own pen/crayon/marker to play the games)Wheelchair accessibility: First floor, no steps to enter. Some seating is not wheelchair friendly (booths that have a step up) buy there are plenty of regular tables. Seating is very close together, so keep that in mind.“
“The food was good and the service was mostly good … until our bill came to 52.54 and our server brought back change for $53. Please do not assume that a customer does not want his/her change. If so, bright change back in the customer’s favor ($52). We did significantly decrease the tip, but it is about the principle.“
“Visited Smitty's for a Sunday lunch: we ordered the Thunder Fries and the Sweet Oklahoma burger ($8.79). The service was very quick and the food especially tasty. The burgers are à la cart, so you have to buy fries extra but they are very shareable. Our bartender was very friendly and responsive. Compared with other locally-owned burger restaurants, today's experience was exceptional in the areas of creativity, taste, and service.“
“Decided to try Cosmo Burger in the Lenexa public market today, and I'm so glad we did! The burgers are smashed fresh, well seasoned, and the potato bun is light and fluffy! The tots were crisp, fried perfectly, and you can't miss out on having burger sauce on the side with those. The staff was super friendly, and my only regret is that I missed out on the pimiento cheese burger special they were running for a limited time.“
“First of all, the burgers and onion rings are delicious. hands down some of the best burgers my wife and I have had. (no food picture because unfortunately we devour it :D) We aren't from Kansas City, we live in Wichita, however, our infant girl is a patient at Children's Mercy in KC, and has been for several months now. My wife can only visit on weekends (I work remotely so I can stay here with the baby), and Danny's has become one of our goto date spots for lunch. There aren't many things that can take my wife's mind off our situation but Danny's has been an awesome experience every time just for their food and service alone, and that had been a bright spot for her in an otherwise not so fun time.“
“I had a blast going to Hamburger Mary’s for the first time last night! The energy was electric and they hosted Ru Paul Season 16’s Q and Xuanmi Muse, which were outstanding performances. Can’t wait to come back for another show soon! :)“
“Excellent food! I had the North Town Burger with cheddar, cooked medium.Best burger I've had in years. Curly fries cooked to perfection. Wife had Santa Fe Chicken Wrap, and was very impressed. Will definitely return. Oh, and the amount of sports memorabilia is truly off the wall and insane.“
“We've watched the Chiefs past 3 Superbowl appearances at the Quaff. Staff are fantastic, tvs aplenty food is hot&fresh, and great music to keep you pumped up between plays. Don't change! P.s. the ladies bathroom is redone, loving it!“
“We arrived as a group of 9 and all left satisfied. The burgers matched what we had seen on their online menu. Our orders included the Classic Burger, Pork Brisket Sandwich, and Pulled Pork Pigwich. While they appeared small, they were packed. The beef and pork were seasoned well. The patties were not oily like most places and yet still good. The fries were addictively tasty. Despite being full, everyone was eager to help finish the fries that we overordered.“
“Hands down the best burger for $7 in Kansas City. Its worth twice that. Got the double and I always ask for extra pickles … this thing was destroyed with pickles in the best way possible.. layers on the burger and under the burger. The fried burger was surprisingly tasty - and not as heavy or messy as I’d imagine. Very well put together.Super friendly service, quality food, and attention to DETAIL. Burgers were to-go and I wasn’t able to dig in for probably 30 plus minutes after getting home. The ketchup and mayo were on the side - meaning my burger stayed perfect and not soggy until I was ready to eat it.Holy grail of burger simplicity.“
“this is the 2nd time we have been here each time we have been here the burgers are the best we have ever eaten, they were seasoned perfectly, you can here the burgers sizzling on the flames as they cook them, they are hands down the best burgers and sides we have ever “
“Food was great, really good cheeseburger and half fries and half onion rings. Next time may get fries and then order a full order of onion rings. Food came hot from the grill, service was quick and friendly. First timer there. Will definitely be back again!!! Great little Irish bar with personality!!!“
“This is the place my out-of-town family always wants to go to in KC before anything downtown. They like being able to sample all the different tap beers & ciders, the many tvs showing sports, and the menu choices. The wait staff is always friendly & helpful. Conveniently located on the KC Streetcar line too!“
“My first impression was how clean it was - no napkins on the floor, straws, etc. and my order was immediately taken, made correctly (only cheese and ketchup on the burger), and the milkshake was out to me within a few minutes. This type of service is needed when you are on lunch break and need to be back soon. I'll definitely be back.“
“Stopped by Town Topic today after going to the Auto Show. I wanted a good old fashioned dinner burger. The place was packed, service was fast and friendly, food was fantastic. The onion rings and cheese burger were prefect. The pie was to die for. Well done you guys!Parking: Small parking lot, hard to find a parking spot. But, the food is worth it.“
“Lew's staff is awesome! Sheady always has her head on a swivel, no such thing as an empty glass. Katie is another example of attention to detail... The list goes on. I have never had a bad experience with my time spent at Lew's. Fish and Chris have done an exceptional job hiring quality!“
“I truly recommend anyone who loves yummy food go to this Culver's. The food is always freshly made and the custard is so freaking delicious. Also the server's are really cool and respectful. The atmosphere is also very peaceful.Parking: Nice spots to park your car.“
“Some say it's better to do a few things well than many things poorly. Sauced.'s menu lists a couple of spicy chicken sandwiches, a few burger variations, chicken wings, chik bites and a couple of sides. That's it. The spicy chicken is spicy. It's not for me, however my friends who like such things like it. The burger is one of the best in town. The wings are top notch. A note - only outside seating is available. Come hungry.“
“I come here a couple times a week in lue of cooking dinner and I'm always treated sooooooo well at this location. The bartenders remember me and my beer order and always greet me with the most welcoming smile. Alyssa is my favorite, can't lie. But Julian, Nastassijia and Leah are all absolutely wonderful as well! I always leave happy and they always take care of me if I'm ever not, which is rare! Thanks for making sure I feel at home at your bar, guys! Austin was great helping me out tonight too!“
“Went and got seated immediately around lunch time our server taylor was very attentive and made our visit much more enjoyable than any restaurant has in a while for us the food was excellent came quickly and was fresh atmosphere was warm and welcoming it was nice to look at all the vintage pictures and signs and see history please don't change it to the five four like the one in independence it sucks.“
“Absolutely the best fried shrimp, fish and wings in town! Love getting one of the large combinations for game day tailgating at Arrowhead! Also they have great breakfast food. Wonderful owners make everything themselves and provide excellent service! Support one of our local black owned businesses and treat yourself to some amazing homemade style soul food!!“
“I've gone to this restaurant many times over the years & they never disappoint; the food is always very well seasoned, the quality control of temperature of the food is stellar & you can't beat the price for the quality and variety of the food available. I've always received good service here & will continue to be a Sunday brunch fan.Vegetarian options: Most of the options are garden salads, pasta salads and grilled vegetablesParking: You can park in the parking garage next to the building and the restaurant will validate your parking ticket so it's free.“
“The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. It was an exceptional meal!Parking: Easy parking is available.Kid-friendliness: The children enjoyed their delightful meals, and they were particularly delighted when they received their large milkshake for sharing amongst each other. The best part was when they sang their famous milkshake song! The children had a great time as well as the adults. ??????Wheelchair accessibility: I am quite certain that they had accessibility features for wheelchairs.“
“The restaurant's shrimp dish is a winner – succulent, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The flavors are a delightful balance, with a hint of freshness from the accompanying herbs. It's a seafood delight that leaves a lasting impression.Parking: Good“
“Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of Whataburger. If you know me, you know I LOVE WHATABURGER, WYNONNA & BABY JESUS! Being someone from the great state of Texas who appreciates good food and great service, I can confidently say that Whataburger's locations across Texas are consistently impressive. However, there is one specific Whataburger, #813 on 15329 Wallisville Rd, that holds a special place in my heart: the one on Wallisville Road. Now, it's not just because of the food that I love this particular Whataburger. It's the three amazing ladies who work there in the morning: Ms. Vera, Ms. Jean, and Ms. Judy. These ladies are an absolute powerhouse, and they make my experience at Whataburger truly exceptional. Every morning, I visit this Whataburger for breakfast, and I must admit that I look forward to seeing these three wonderful individuals more than I do for my biscuits and gravy. From the moment I walk in, they greet me with warm smiles and make me feel like I am the most important person in the world. They treat me not just as a customer but as a friend. One thing that sets these ladies apart is their genuine friendliness and courtesy. They go above and beyond to ensure that every customer feels welcomed and valued. Miss Vera, in particular, gives the best hugs that instantly brighten up my day. Their level of service is truly top-notch, and they deserve to be treated like queens. While the food at Whataburger #813 on Wallisville Road is consistently delicious, it is the presence of these three remarkable ladies that truly makes this location stand out. Their dedication to providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere is truly commendable. If you ever find yourself in the area, I highly recommend paying a visit to this Whataburger. Not only will you enjoy a tasty meal, but you will also be greeted by the three queens of Whataburger: Ms. Vera, Ms. Jean, and Ms. Judy. They are the heart and soul of this location, and they are the reason why I keep coming back.“
“Food was alright, nothing amazing so a bit over priced for the quality. Atmosphere is definitely cool with the trains. It's fairly loud in there (not surprising since it draws in kids) and you order by making a phone call via the phone in your booth so not the best place for introverts or those with auditory issues.“
“Literally one of the best burger spots in all of Kansas City. The owner Jim is one of the nicest & generous owners I've ever come across. Strongly recommend this spot for all my burger lovers. I promise you won't be able to finish it :)“
“We have been to strips several times, and on a few occasions brought friends with us. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff members are so friendly and helpful. I love the chicken strips and the honey mustard sauce. My son and husband were so happy when we found strips because they LOVE the gluten free chicken nuggets, fries and onion strips. They are all delicious.“
“Social is undoubtedly a true sports bar gem that has won me over with its incredible atmosphere, friendly staff, and mouthwatering food. If you're a sports enthusiast, you won't want to miss out on this fantastic spot. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the electrifying buzz of sports excitement. The venue is decked out with large, high-definition screens broadcasting a wide array of games. Whether it's the big game or a lesser-known match, you can count on Social to have it covered. But let's talk about the food - it's nothing short of amazing! Social's menu boasts a diverse range of options that cater to all tastes. Whether you're craving classic pub grub like burgers and nachos or something a bit more gourmet, they have it all. The quality and flavors of their dishes are top-notch, and I've yet to be disappointed with anything I've ordered. What truly sets Social apart, though, is the staff. They're not just friendly; they're sports enthusiasts themselves. They go out of their way to make sure you have a memorable experience. Whether you have questions about the game or need a recommendation from the menu, they're there to help. And speaking of the menu, their drink selection is impressive too. They have a fantastic variety of beers on tap, along with a creative cocktail list that adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the sports-watching experience.Social is more than just a bar; it's a community where sports fans come together to cheer on their teams and enjoy great food and drinks. It's the kind of place where you feel right at home, no matter which team you support. In summary, if you're looking for the ultimate sports bar with friendly staff and amazing food, look no further than Social. It's a slam dunk, a home run, and a touchdown all rolled into one. I can't recommend it enough to fellow sports enthusiasts and anyone looking for a fantastic time out. Social truly hits it out of the park!“
“My favorite burger joint now! The burgers are like smash burgers, flavorful, enough grease and always taste the same. The grilled cheese and tenderloin is definitely neck and neck. I like their onion fries but save my appetite for the burger.“
“My burger was amazing.I couldn't get a picture because I ate it so fast. The truffle fries amazing! The food was hot and fresh even though they were busy.We had to sit at the bar and the bartender was nice. He charged my dead phone for me.Parking: The parking is horrible.“
“First time customer yesterday an boy let me tell you this place is small anclassic an the food off the chain could only ask the burgers to be bigger but the prices are really good will be back again thank again for good food better then bk or “
“We ended up at Hereford House by happy happenstance I was meeting Iowa cousins for dinner. Our server Linda was awesome she was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and options. The roll are so warm, soft and delicious with the honey butter. We got a real variety steak excellent, chicken was tender and chili with skillet cornbread and desserts the incredible carrot cake and warm apple crisp. A truly relaxing wonderful dinner.“
“I really only went for the shake but decided to get dinner there rather than look around for a different restaurant. Burger was good but messy and the fries were great but the chocolate malt milkshake was so good. Maybe it's because we can't get malt milkshakes so easily in the UK which is why it tasted so good. Either way I thought it was perfect.“
“The buffalo chicken cheesesteak for sure. But in general big burgers and like my cheesesteak was falling out of it’s bun and I definitely need a fork and a spoon because I was not going to let what dropped go to waste. It was spicy but not too spicy like I needed a drink but I wasn’t saying oh no it’s too spicy. Perfect level of spicy and delicious.“
“This is a newer location of dairy queen in a great location. It's in the parking lot of the old mall turned shopping area. It's easy to get in and out of the parking lot. There's a lot of handicap accessible parking. The entrance and restaurant is also accessible. The food is good and service is usually pretty good as well.“
“Excellent service from Kallina. I had the Shrine burger with Swiss and mushrooms. It was cooked medium well as I asked. Overall a great burger with a home cooked taste. I chose the home style chips as my side. Kallina offered me a drink to go and was all around excellent with her table service. Not many people know the restaurant is open the public. Just be sure your check the hours since they are close on weekends unless a special event is going on as it was today.“
“If you're coming for bar-b-que, my picky husband said it's some of the very best he's ever had and it would be hard to beat. If you don't eat meat or are a pescatarian like me, this is probably not the place for you. My salad was nothing fancy, very basic, yet was $20. Not worth it at all. But my husband loved this place so much that I had to give it a 5 star rating. The drinks from the bar were good and only $9, which I thought was great compared with so many other places.“
“It was great experience came as a group we all tried it for the first time I got the triple burger it was good but maybe a little overhyped still going to try more of the menu and add more onto this employees really nice and respectful my cup had a hole at the bottom and didn't notice it thought it was part of the condensation but it turned out it wasn't and employee was the one who noticed and Gave me a new cup and apologized for the inconvenience, highly recommended for atmosphere and chilling having a great time with people who care about their service and quality of experience. Great job will be back soon to try new things!Parking: They have their own parking lot“
“The people making the food and the man at the counter was very nice! I had onion rings and a very tasty cheeseburger! It wasn’t even 5 minutes and the cheeseburger was gone! Very good! You can tell that this place puts a lot of joy and passion in their food!Bonus: Saw a very chill pigeon hanging out around the building. Very friendly.“
“The mushroom burger was quite tasty, well cooked & not greasy. The burger itself had mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, crispy dill pickles, and I substituted American cheese for the Swiss which came standard. It’s served with seasoned fries and they tasted fresh made (even if they aren’t).We also enjoyed an order of falafel and an order of fried mushrooms. We could not finish what we ordered and required 3 takeout containers!Definitely worth a stop in. We were there around 7:30 on a Saturday evening and it was very busy. The cafe seating was almost full and the take out business was thriving. It’s not a large place so it appeared very popular with the locals in that area.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp from the doorway at the sidewalk level up to the front counter. It is a bit steep, but could be manageable.“
“We have dined in at this location twice in the last couple months (once during a really busy night and once on a slower week night) and both times we were seated quickly, had great servers, our food came within a reasonable time, and we received exactly what we ordered. The bathrooms were clean and they get bonus points for giving my preschooler a balloon on his way out! Overall a solid choice!“
“I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received as well as the quality of my cheeseburger and my onion rings. I ate at a Burger Theory one other time and I was very disappointed by that experience. I'm glad I gave it another try. The onion rings were very good.“
“Food was so delicious, as was my beverage. Service was fantastic. We were so hungry that we neglected to take photos. Would highly recommend this place. A bit pricey, but also not terrible. One negative was it was cold and I was freezing.“
