We ordered carry out tonight and I went to pick it up. The restaurant was so busy, especially for carry out orders. I opted for parking and walking in to pick up. I barely interacted with the woman at the carry out desk but she had such a positive and incredible aura about her. I took a mental note of how sweet she was to me, despite being a brief interaction. Jack Stack is classic and should be visited if you’re in Kansas City. They have many locations throughout the city. This time I had the Martin City Mayor burnt ends sandwich with fries accompanied by a blackberry bbq sauce. The sandwich was filling and utterly delicious. For dessert we had the carrot cake which was the BEST carrot cake I’ve ever had in my life. I wish I would have taken a picture of it but it didn’t stay on the plate long. Dined quite a bit at this location and I had most of the menu. I would say get what you have the taste for. Burnt ends, brisket, shrimp, pulled pork, beans, corn and the fries are my top fave along with the chocolate brownie and ice cream! Jacks has the best sides in my opinion compared to most of the bbq places in Kc!
