“We wanted to celebrate my daughter's special accomplishment. Our table had a beautiful view. All of the food was excellent. We loved the calamari and bacon wrapped shrimp. Crab cakes, crab bisque, steak and pasta all excellent . Our server was excellent which isn't easy with 2 young children. Our special celebration was indeed special!“
“Mendy was our waitress and she did a great job. The food was delicious. I had the Burrata and Pear salad it is always so good. I also had the ribeye with mushrooms delicious and perfectly cooked. He had the Lobster Bisque, Prime Rib and truffle fries and said they were delicious! Highly recommend!“
“It was amazing. We never have had any issues with this place. We have been roadhouse fans for over 6 years now. We actually tried to have a more upscale dinner and Gordon Ramseys steak, but we wound up eating bread for over a hour and the waitress kept saying the food was almost done. After a whole hour wait my wife was frustrated to the fullest. The manager had an attitude and said the meal takes 2 and a half hours. Which is crazy. Even had attitude with it. I don't want to pull the race card but it sure felt like it being the only blacks in the building at the time. So we came to what we know. We were in and out and with our steak and great service as usual. We are sorry for cheating on you texas roadhouse. You always do us right and everyone should know how great and fun you are.“
“New location, good food, decent service. Kitchen was a little slow, but that may not be their fault. Half of our group got their meals 10 minutes ahead of the others. Our group has call-ahead seating, yet we were wedged in a small-ish table. Manager did come check in on us, which was nice.“
“Took my wife out for her birthday. From the moment we walked in through the entirety of the service the staff made us feel like royalty. We had an amazing meal from the handcrafted drinks to the mouthwatering steaks and the sides which were so good they could have been a meal on their own. The whole experience was one that we will never forget. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and well versed in the menue items. The meal was WELL worth the price.“
“Excellent old school Steakhouse, where the basement with live music is a time capsul, in a good way. My 3 trips to the Majestic have all been delightful, but this last visit was highlighted by a very talented trio ( piano, drums and bass. The bass player would make Bootsy and Stanley proud!) that made for a very memorable dinner. Food and service is great but the music is lagniappe. Cheers.“
“We came here for a business dinner but the entry to the restaurant was quite interesting. We got seated and place was filling in slowly. We got our drinks n bread and ordered some lovely apps. Baked Escargot and Tuna Tartare for appetizers was a perfect choice. Escargot was buttery and tuna with some Avocado was absolute delicious. Escargot was definitely the highlight of the night. Then we got some salad and French onion soup. My soup was good, nothing extraordinary. For main course, I ordered boneless ribeye with bone marrow butter w/ some spinach n scalloped potatoes. Everything was absolutely perfect, steak was top notch, probably the butter enhanced the flavor. For dessert, ordered the crème brûlée and it was good with perfect amount of sweetness, the berries with cream.What a great meal, don’t forget to try their signature old fashioned with house bourbon.If I am in Des Moines again, will definitely eat here.Parking: Park across the street at 901 and walk across the skywalk.“

The steak was absolutely fantastic and our servic was top notch 10/10!Kid-friendliness: Our 18 month old usually just picks off of my plate and the waitress brought her out a bowl of applesauce and didn't even put it on our ticket. We also had an 11 year old, a 15 year old, a 14 year old and a 17 year old and our waitress answered all their questions and accommodated them, she was fantastic.“
“I am not a fan of cowboy deco, or country music so I order to-go, mostly. That said, the food is always delicious at this location and they are good at fulfilling special requests (sauces and stuff on the side so food stays crispy, etc.) to make sure it stays that way. This location is well maintained, clean, and the hosts and wait staff are always friendly!“

“Food was great quality and delicious! Between the 4 of us we had the calamari, crab pimento dip, salmon, 3 different type steaks, broccoli, and mushrooms. All were excellent! We shared the smores chocolate pie and and bread pudding, which were both supremely delicious!! I would highly recommend all the above! In addition the staff were all very friendly and welcoming with great service! Our server, Cale, was exceptionally good! He was very attentive, without being intrusive. The atmosphere was very pleasant and comfortable, with the noise level just right to hold a conversation. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a date night, family get-together, or special occasion!“
